Of course now it won't be until after the storm unless there are problems with power loss and the blizzard conditions. Oh yeah the new company is on cape cod where they are expecting hurricane winds and 18" of snow.
I hope the internet doesn't go out. Then I'll really have nothing to do!

Hang in there buddy. For once as a Minnesotan I can sit here in January enjoying relative comfort and hear someone else complain about the weather.

41 degrees and sunny!

Heres to hoping this is your delivery van!

SWEET! Both the temp and the delivery truck. I figured being snowed in with all my parts I wouldn't care what outside was like! I'm even getting a propane tank filled for the bullet heater in the garage. Friday I had thought about getting a ramp truck to go get the parts. Shoulda coulda woulda but didn't.

Arrgh

Waiting on parts can be so frustrating...hope it makes it before the new winter obliteration that is supposed to me coming

Man its HOT here!

Wayne ... I do hope you get your parts before they shut down everything, Groton is supposed to get 2 feet of snow, guess they shut down the highways already.

Not to rub it in ... ITS 66 degrees out, did a little painting and opened all the windows in the house

Be safe ....

Chief already told it won't be until after the storm and they clear it up. What kills me is it was 17 miles away and now they moved it to Cape Cod and its about 45 miles away and into where they will get hurricane winds for 1-1/2 days. if power goes out for them it will probably be next week.
I'm sure it will switch and you will have some crappy weather days.
My daughter is a nurse on base and my son in law is a corpsman and both have tomorrow and maybe Wednesday off.

Sonar Chief 01-26-2015 04:46 PM

It will be worth the wait :bang:

Yeah my boys said the college is closed too .... enjoy the days off, right?

I am sure this warm weather will not last, funny thing is that there is still snow on the North facing ground.

Yesterday I tried to clean an Auto Kraft billet oil filter filter re locator with some brake cleaner. It was so cold it didn't even evaporate, I had to pour it out of the tray I had the piece on. The only thing that worked like normal was I almost got frost bite on my hand when It sprayed it by accident.

Hang in there, it will get there eventually. Hell, I wasn't working on mine when the garage was 52 degrees...lol I'm spoiled to the heat and that feels cold to me lol
