This car just keeps getting better... Good to see that you are making the ABS work.. I am sure it is the way of the future..

I have always liked the GM parking brake.. The other day I was thinking about using it as a standard parking brake on my builds.. Now their is another two reasons to use it for ABS & a floater.. I wish I had your GM resources Mark! Great work..

EEEEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA

See ya @ SEMA:woot:

In a I'm a geeky engineer way, I back calculated road HP at Gingerman. On a 91 degree day we are putting 620 HP to the ground!

The graph top center is a histogram of HP and Torque of one lap.

The housing end doesn't look that bad, but the amount of machine work in those axles, and the R&D time seems epic. I rarely see something anymore that makes me say wow. But wow, why didn't I think of that. I'm in the middle of working up the "normal full floater" for mine. Just figured you deserved some props for thinking that one through (ingenious). Ron

What Ron said! Sometimes you make it look so simple.

Looking forward to seeing the car again this year at SEMA!

Once again impressive in every aspect.

Maybe we'll see the benefits of Mark's engineering and testing in the form of a new Currie crate rear end offering?

Way cool video Mark.I would love to see some photo's of the housing's end's.

It is designed to weld to the end of a 3 inch axle tube.

I had 4130 axle shafts made to mate the ZR-1 bearing on one end and a 31 spline Ford 9 inch on the other.

It also has a shoulder for a GM axle seal.

Then I had to make a tool to align it so when you weld it on it sets your camber and toe.

I've been working on this design since SEMA last year when my ABS faulted out. This design fixed the three things that made me mad on my old system.

ABS signal drop outs at high speeds and loads
Brake knock back
Rear axle leaks

It could be a bit over kill but I'm tired of messing with it.

That would certainly address my issues.

I just don't know what to say

I could be mistaken, but that appears to have a bunch of design and fab time in it.

Truly spectacular! I can only imagine the machine bill.
