Brett, when you are in your post, click on the green box that is sitting on its edge above and to the left of all the emoticons, and it will drop Youtube brackets into the post. Then copy/paste the letters/numbers in the URL of the youtube video that are AFTER the "=" sign.

Make sense?

Did you guy's have or need more adjustments after the second vid?

What tread wear tires are you guys tuning with?

yea, BB had some 300 treadware bias ply, I was running race slicks....

na, just F%*%*g with ya all.. lol. Both of us were running Nitto NT05 tires, BB's had minimal wear... and mine were bald. No kidden. My back tires were eventually bald at the end of the day.

I'm Sure Cris will chim in about the final adjustments (I know he was planning to spend time with family today). But let me tell ya, that car is getting fast and I'm assuming it has more in it.

Ok, that was an awsome day with Cris, Mary, Dave and the crew testing Blu-Balz. Thanks for inviting me and the Fab53 Camaro.

So, this is the story in short form. Testing and tuning means nothing UNLESS you have the right crew with experience to understand and communicate what is needed for a car to get quicker... and/or fine tuned.

These two videos are partial documentation and evidence of the hard work put into such a fine machine as JCG's 68 Camaro Blu-Balz. In the first video, which is earlier in the day, I was able to keep BB close in my GoPro sights with minimal struggles.

But, in the second video, which is later in the day, you will see that it became harder for me to keep a close shot of BB. She was able to pull away with ease. The car became faster and Mary became more comfortable with what she could do with it. This is a true testament to what a great driver, Mary Possi, a great crew, Dave Possi Cris Gonzo and team can do with a pro-touring machine.

Enjoy. And Cris.... I have more shots that I will send to you directly.

Thanks again for a great day out with a fun bunch of people.

P.S. help... how do you embed Youtube screen to this post rather than just a link?

Here is a little recap of the testing & tuning that we went thru this week… Basically I just sat down & listened to everything David & Mary were telling.. I just followed their lead & did as I was asked on all the suspension tuning of the car.. I was calling David & getting spring rates they wanted to see on the car, setting the shocks to how Mary wanted the car to set in a corner, setting the camber to what they thought worked the best.. I just did exactly what they told me to do.. Plus the owner the car right before I ship it out.. He said do whatever it takes to shake that car out! Rent a track get the Pozzi’s in.. Buy springs, change the steering wheel, & etc. All I said I will get err done! As long as I don’t lose my ride height!

We put a RacePak on the car to get some reading on what the car was doing.. Mary was consistently pulling 1 G lateral loads on the car both ways.. Maybe David will post that graph later..

Another thing that we did was take pictures of the car as it was being tested & tuned… Casey got some great pics of the car to observe how the car was leaning & watching the tire contact patch to the pavement… I will just post random pics of that so that you guys can see what the car was going!

Looks to me like you needed a way faster chase car! :unibrow:

Man, you are telling me. I even went as far to put lead in her car, stick a bannana in the exhaust, and drugged her lunch drink.... Still nothin except pulling away... maybe next time I will let some air out of the tires also. Lol.

Car looks great out there! I never noticed before how tight all the gaps are on that thing! I must have been caught up in all the killer details! Love this car!! :hail:

That was great...

Mary drives crazy fast....sweet..

I am looking to go to an event at a Track like that in the Bay Area. An airport type autocross.

Someone PM me and let me know... Sacramento would be ok..

My Car is ready..

A most excellent day and I'm very happy with the way this car responded to the changes we did. Have to say the most significant one was the change of brake pad friction material and man, those Wilwood stoppers sure work good. Having the right stuff at the calipers is huge.

Thanks to Cris and the owner of the Camaro for entrusting this part of the development to me and there's still more tricks in the bag that when done, will get this car even better.

Mary Pozzi
