Those gauges are going to be nice, are you keeping the stock dash?

Curious to what you do, I've been wanting to change mine for a while now and really like the Speedhut gauges, lots of possibilities!

Glad to see your making headway on the "big girl"!! I like the gauges as well.

Aww that was a visual that I didn't need. How am I going to watch Ice Age ever again with out that thought.....:thankyou: :welder: :lmao:
I only say the "big girl" comment since Rob and I have tossed it back and forth with both of our projects. Mine isn't a petite princess either....

Thanks I'm refining the gauge design a little more.

No stock dash. I have an idea for the dash. Once I get farther along on it I'll post some progress pictures. I really thought about keeping the stock dash and just getting 4 4" round gauges. Speedo, tach and two combo gauges oil/water temp and volt/fuel level.

So far I have really enjoyed dealing with Speedhut.

Thanks how is your "little" Chevelle coming along? GW forgets who first said that about my girl with the big back end.

Some more parts showed up today. :ups: These should work pretty well to drive my KSE tandem pump and Alt.

Yep -- those look like FORD parts -- two flat pieces with a plastic piece in-between!!! :trophy-1302: :animated_bye_bye_em

Yes typical Ford parts, You are right and wrong all at once.:mock:

Two beautifully engineered splined steel pieces with a light and functional AL piece locked in between. Race car goodness at it's best just like the Ford stuff but this is made by Peterson Fluid Systems. :smiley_smack:

GregWeld 04-15-2013 08:58 PM

It's pretty cool alright -- I just couldn't figure out what it's purpose is... LOL

INTMD8 04-15-2013 09:04 PM

Speedhut (internals) is what Redline used for mine as well. I really like the idea of the integrated programmable warning light.

That being said, considering they have warning lights I think I would personally omit the red warning "range" on the dials for a cleaner look.

:)
