:lol: In Cris' defense. He was certainly under the weather. I know Trev is hoping he catches Cris' flu. Says it would be a perfect excuse to stay out of school this week, hang out at the shop and watch my car being built.

Having the flu won't get him any slack from me!

Jack Chisenhall (Vintage Air) brought out his brand spankin' new '36 Ford and had Mark Stielow run the snot out of it - it had about 1 mile on it and was scheduled for a photoshoot Monday...

Trevor- It was my pleasure giving you & your dad a tour of the shop..Looking forward to seeing your dad complete his 69 & you posting some pics of you project here pretty soon..

I was here @ the shop asleep in front of my computer sick as a dog till Thurday.. Glad you had fun playing in the rain! :D

Congrats to KD for wining a spot to Optima! I wonder if they will let him drive BB instead of his Mustang! :D

AmericanAuto-X Event
 

This weekend we drove Blu Balz out to Central CA to the AmericanAuto-x event @ the Marina.. I had a lot of fun @ this event watching & learning from people that have been doing this for a long time..

We also stretched the Camaro’s legs by driving from Oxnard to Salinas.. Car now has another 400 miles of straight driving without any problems on the road.. We got to the event.. let some air out of the tires.. registered & put a number on the side of the car then got in line to start getting some runs in.. Mary was quick to point out the issues we were having with the car.. We managed to get thru our 5 runs in the afternoon fighting the small issues…

After the event on Saturday we drove back to Mary & Dave’s house so that I could do some wrenching on the car.. We tried something that I thought that might help.. but considered it a long shot.. but the one thing I enjoyed of going over to the Pozzi’s shop was all the cool car’s they have .. Some racing history in that shop.. Also got to meet Mike Maier & talk shop with him.. Great person with lots of suspension knowledge.. I have never seen anybody make suck quick suspension adjustments like Mike..

This morning we got to the event with the same small issue going on.. I need to replace the rack n pinion tomorrow morning.. put more negative camber in it & widen the front track.. the car was pushing like a dump truck.. Like I said!! I learned a lot this weekend.. I even got Brian Hobaugh behind the wheel with Mary riding shotgun!
