Greg this car just keeps getting better with every new picture you post,I really like the look with the top up,it has that chopped look for sureThis car is first class, great job!:king:

Did I ever mention I was keeping this build "simple" ---- Headlight switch - ignition - two gauges… DONE.
We're going to shorten the shifter --- the one that's on there interferes with reaching for the AC controls. http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/file-166.jpg |
I love it. Looks classy.

May I ask what kind of lights you used in the dash?
|
I'm guessing after how this LS engine turned out Brizio will be doing more of them.
|
It looks awesome Greg congrats.

I hope your sending these pictures to SAR'S!! :lolhit:

He's beginning to see the light…. and the "hot rodders" at Sids shop -- all agreed with the LS is Best… We did discuss the "hook up a few wires and fire it off"… no timing lights… no distributor settings… no curves to work out… no fuel leaks… no oil leaks" --- He's still an old skool Ford in a Ford guy. But he gets it. I think the average age of his clients is what keeps the LS builds down. Ya know the kind - the ones that say they want to be able to get simple parts if something happens on a trip…. to which I reply - I just want to do the trip… and what are these "parts" that you refer to… 'cause I've never needed any". |

SAR'S quality in paint - and chrome - and interior etc. is equal in every way to The Briz… My little '32 is very very nice that way. Now -- making one drivable is a completely different story and that's where we separate the men from the boyz. One builds show cars.. the other builds show cars that get driven. Funny -- we stood at the front of the '33 and discussed the knuckles and the way they were attached -- and The Briz likes his through bolted and doesn't like the way a certain brand is done… so he modifies the backing plate to accept the through bolted versions he likes… and there's the difference right there. He understands the MECHANICS of things. Not just the pretty looking part. |

They are just dime store 12V LED's pushed thru the dash from the back and glued into place. They take about a 1/8" hole is all. And are dimmable. So there's turn signal left and right - and hi-beam indicator. They're there because I'm correcting everything I didn't do right on the '32…. On the '32 I constantly leave the turn signal on… because there's no indicator to tell me… and I never know if the hi-beams are on or off… and the key in the '32 is in an awkward place under the dash so it's hard to find the slot to put the key in… a PITA "effort" to keep the dash super tidy. F THAT! I want to just get in the SOB and drive… If you see the key - get over it! LOL |
