Greg, you told me once but I don't remember who built that chassis?

Superior Glassworks - in Molalla, Oregon built the chassis. After looking and discussing this chassis with about a million people that build 'em - they all looked to be about the same... so decided to keep it local.

The '37 is all about loading up the trunk and going cruising... thus - just a simple leaf spring rear - power rack - manual Wilwood brakes... LS motor.
Super simple - super clean nice little crusin' machine. Did I mention the multi channel McIntosh Amp... it has to have killer crusin' tunes... and big A/C.

From there website Greg,

RattlerŽ are steel rollers that fit loosely into a specific number of holes. By using an exact mathematical relationship, the rollers will roll forward during compression strokes and roll backward during the power stroke to keep the engine speed variations and vibration, to a minimum.

The only time you may hear the RattlerŽ is when starting and stopping the engine. When you hear the slight "click" you know the RattlerŽ is ready to work. The slight noise could have been eliminated but TCIŽ decided to keep it as a distinguishing trademark.

I had one on my old 383 in the El Camino, I did notice that the engine ran smoother and had less vibration, there pricey but do what there supposed to I guess.

Love the new updates Greg, any other new goodies coming or changing?

Of course I was kidding when I asked that rhetorical question... and of course the RATTLER is doing just exactly what they say and exactly as it should.... the problem is - this is a hot rod - not a race car... and with no hood sides etc... the "rattling" sounds like something is falling off the car. Quite embarrassing to say the least... So it's OUT, and a Fluid Damper is in.... I'll use the rattling POS on something more suitable. Maybe Todd will want it?

[QUOTE=GregWeld;349937]I have a '37 Ford - Minotti body 3 window coupe - and I already had the chassis custom built (a year or more ago) - LS6 (probably won't use it but buy a new LS3 or ? - will get 8 stack or blower... was going to be an automatic for cruising - has a Ford 9" on inboard mounted leaf springs and the chassis was C notched for low ride... It's going to be PPG Barcelona Blue (have posted a '32 that is the correct color)... and Recovery room interior... :woot:

Here's the butt ugly hump as it is - the way I bought it for a complete do over project. Some pretty ugly stuff comes out of BAKERSFIELD I can tell ya!

Just tell me your going to keep those graphics. May those are super HOTT.

That interior idea in that car would be awesome.

Whats that bench racin wheelstand style ?? lol

Greg how about a second floor with an elevator for the finnished projects for more room.

I'm waiting for the old DB next door to croak... then I'll buy his house and knock the POS down and build a set up like Charley has... one shed for clean and pretty and one shed for down and dirty.

Of course my wife might have a thing or two to say about that.... :woot:

LOL..

I figured you were playing around with that rattler question, I thought to myself why would Greg ask that kind of question when he has worked and had more bitchin cars than I'll ever get to see,it must be the altitude here where I live lol.

Glad to see the new changes!

The 1970's graphics are the only reason I bought the POS... Sure wish they'd have incorporated some lace painting in there though... would have been "far out" then....

It's just one of those parts I always wanted.... Sometimes I mess up. Must be why I have a shop full of "used" stuff...
