What a craftmanship there is on that car. All those supernice brackets and welds all over the exhaustsystem is art in it self. :hail:

It must be fun to get a car like that and make it even more perfect.

You will soon go for a testdrive I am sure.

Yes, it is an advantage to buy a car that Mark Stielow originally built. You know the engineering is all sorted out, and quality is top notch. Then you can put your personal touches to it.

yes, 3" stainless. I have my fast days and others that nothing gets done even though I'm working on it all day. Need a few more fast days to get this done on time.

Looks awesome Jody. Glad to see it coming together! Thanks for the exhaust pics. Like the brackets that were made. Very simple - yet stylish.

Jody the car is great but what's really making me insanely jealous is that hoist you have in your garage. I would KILL to have one of those at my disposal.

I totally understand that. I would not want to go back to not having a lift, it just makes everything so much easier when working on cars.

Jody what's your ceiling height of the shop? If I remember correctly I have 11.5'. I'm thinking that would be enough for my camaro...and I'm a little more height challenged than yourself! Man I want a lift!

Make sure that mat in the doors is good and tight. We have had many cars come back in the summer time with window assemblies stuck .
The heat lets the glue backing come loose and start to droop inside the doors and ends up jamming up the window assemblies.

CAR LOOKS GREAT !

Good point Jason, have you noticed any differences between brands ?

My smaller shop is that height, and some day may put a second lift in there. The bigger shop has almost 13' ceiling height, so it's a non-issue. I think 11.5' is enough, especially if you aren't 6'5" tall........... :D

Thanks for the info Jody! If nothing else I could use it for car storage in the off months...probably not a bad idea with a 3 year old running around! :_paranoid
