I mounted my Kirkey seat with some Wedge engineering brackets I had. They are are not made for the seat but will for now and much safer until I can weld in the new mounts. I added some more gas and took for a quick spin. It seems to shift fine. I have a ton of work ahead but man driving the thing for a few minutes felt awesome :woot: I just barely tapped the pedal and the thing fish-tailed at roll. I guess I was surprised as I did not expect that a stock LS3 would feel so good. Bare in mind this thing has been a dead horse for many years so it has been a while since I have driven anything with that kind of power. I need to get exhaust and a few things now so I will likely have no more test drives till then. But I can't wait. |
