I've done this a few times on Novas.
18" wheels fit perfect.
I'm currently building a Nova with 19's and I think this is max with the stock openings. Attached are pics of what we've done when running 20's.
I basically got a fender opening patch panel and split it in half.
I widened the opening 2" foward and 2" backward for a total of 4".
I also got a rear sail patch panel and used it to "pie" cut the quarter so it matches up and the bottom. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pictures and info. I'm running 19s on the rear of mine. Probably going stick with stock opening because the budget isn't going to allow it. Also going to follow your 67 nova thread...looks like it's going to be a good one.

Looking for any ideas for gauges, instrumentation, and dash. Not sure which way I want to go. Kind of want to keep it utilitarian. On the other hand I wonder what it would look like with a ZO6 gauge pod grafted into a modified metal dash??

Darrell I would interested in seeing how your are going to make it work. I'm not sure it will look good with a metal dash. What type of car are you building?

Darrell's car is kind of "top secret"...... Good luck getting information from him.

Hey Doug!

I'm doing a pseudo-GT3 type gauge cluster.

Is that the one on your thread? You have the one gauge turned sideways? I think we are going to end up fabricating a whole new dash and change the whole design.

Your in great hands with Rodger:hail:
I was considering a ZO6 dash but have decided against it. As it stands now we are going to fab a whole new dash. Probably use some kind of autometer gauges.

Yup! Once we get all the gauge faces together it should look really nice.

What sort of dash shape are you thinking of going with?

Ironworks did one in an Impala(?) that looks killer. Check out their site. It'll give you some good ideas.
