Time for an update... I gotta say I am very impressed with Chris and the guys. Over the past couple of months we have made a huge amount of progress. He has a couple new guys that are all business and get things done. It's great to see thing moving at this pace.

So since the color was shot they have finished the underside cleaning up the mini tub welds and detailing the underside before completing the seam sealing and shooting it with Raptor Liner. I really like this stuff since it is textured but not rough like many bedliners.

Chris also had his guys clean up the weld on the subframe. He went way beyond by basically rewelding the whole thing. Here you can see some of the clean up stuff he did. The pics don't do it justice. They look way better and a whole lot cleaner.

Once that was all done and cleaned up it was ready to go back in the paint booth. He shoot the engine compartment, subframe, the underside of the car and the dash in Rally Matte black. It's going to look killer with the brilliant silver.

Cell phone picks so they don't show too much detail. I will get some better pics next time I'm up there.

Great deals on parts from forum members

I just have to throw out a big thanks to Lat-G and PT.com and all the great forum members selling their unneeded parts. Over the period of my build I have been accumulating some much needed parts.

Now that I am in the assembly process I have been going through the boxes of goodies and want to give a big thanks for the great deals.

Most recently picked up a pair of Borla XR-1 mufflers from Scott- aka Scottysimp7

I also picked up a DSE brake booster and Doug's D386 headers from Don - aka JennDon

I picked up a Vintage Air front runner set up with DSE PS pump from Jess - NvrDun71

I got a set of Fesler brushed hood hinges and trunk hinges from Steven Rupp

These forums have been invaluable for information and has really helped me stretch my budget because of these deals.

Thanks guys!!!!!

Now I just need to get them out of their boxes and onto the car :unibrow:

In addition to the deals from the forums I have to give a big thanks to Matt's Classic Bowties who I have gotten all the other needed parts from without any problems. The only item I didn't get from them was my Moser "Prodigy" rear end from Frank. As other have experienced, I too had delays and we are now in the process of having to modify it to fit the AirBar.

I just took advantage of the MCB's Black Friday deal and ordered the RideTech Tru-Turn set up and Muscle Bar to complete my suspension set up.

Wasn't satisfied with the ride height or laid out height so we had to make some "adjustments" to the AirBar. Don't tell Brett... LOL

A little touch up on the Raptor Liner and we are good
