Jeff, this Camaro is coming along really good. Can't wait to see it in color with the work you have done on all the gaps and alignment of the GM panels. The 69 I am doing right now has all GM NOS parts and they work the best. A lot less time doing finishing work on the GM panel.
Keep up the great work.
See you at the events.

Hi Jeff,

I got caught back up on the build. Super nice job on the GM qtr install. Gaps look awesome. You are doing a great job, keep it up.

Probably the angle of the pic, but on header tube for cylinder #2, is there enough clearance for upper control arm to get proper camber adjustment?

thanks Jay,sure would like to borrow your wifes interior, super nice,Jay it must be the picture because there are no issues at all with clearances with the Hooker Headers.GM panels are worth the extra money.

Jeff, What brand of motor mounts did you use with the stock sub frame?

Thanks Jon

Hey Jon on the stock subframe I used a solid moroso mount on the engine and the stock frame mounts but I made my own plate that moved the frame mounts back 1.5".sorry but I dont think I have any pics of the plate on the subframe.I think the DSE kit will work on stock sub, please check with them first to be sure, they are a nice kit.

Hello Jeff,

In regards to the Hooker Headers with the DSE sub how far do they hang down below the sub? Also do you happen to have the part # for which one you ordered?? I love the DSE headers but they are expensive, I'm trying to keep my project cost in check due to the fact that my wife and I are moving and started the house building process.

Thanks

Hey Chris the part #2288-1HKR are the headers that I have used twice and really happy for the price,I will buy DSE headers for my next carThose were probally the best pics I have for now.I am putting car on rottisserie right now but in a week or two I can get more pics for you.As far as clearance they are better than a few other brands that I have put on other cars,I am not badmouthing anydody elses headers because they are alot of nice LS headers out there, but the finish on these is alot better than a couple more expensive brands that I have installed, your car is looking great Chris.

making a little progress, got back on rotisserie and finished up floorpan and painted it and firewall, used a single stage urathane in satin black from Excel, really nice product, looks alot like powdercoat finish and lays down nice and dries fairly fasthttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps92de72b7.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps92de72b7.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps92de72b7.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps92de72b7.jpg
