Looks awesome! You may want to look into a permanent mold casting for this. this thing is going to have a crazy amount of machine time in it not to mention the chip/finish part ratio. Depending on the demand you may be better off spending the money on the tooling. Just a thought. It will be crazy nice no matter the direction you go!

any update?

Things are progressing at a pretty good rate on the Fairway Chevrolet 70 Chevelle. We have the engine position finalized and are getting everything else into position to be able to build headers and exhaust. Finish Mini Tubs, and get the trans and drive shaft tunnel into the car.

Our goal is to have this car in our booth at the Grand National Roadster show to showcase the chassis and our new product sponsors for 2013.

Enough talking, here are the pics.

Here is the New GMR housings that come standard on the Ironworks Chassis's now. No Cheap low dollar crap here.

Our greaseable johnny johnny joints for the front pivots of our frames. Waiting on machined parts for the rear link parts.

We should be able to do much more frequent updates for the next few weeks as we really progress on this build.

Thanks Scott. I was out playing around in Catalina this past weekend. The guys at the shop where hammer down on Saturday. We have a ton of work to get done to close the shop for 11 days at Christmas and still get this bad boy running by GNRS.

Great show. Lots of mid west boys come out to get out of the snow.

We have a good time.

What type of grease are you using for the jonny joints that fits in a grease gun ?

I want to add zerks to mine I guess I've been a bit leery of drilling the shell. I assume the hole has to continue through the shell and through the bushing until it gets to the inner ball. I am going to try to drill mine after seeing this.

Our johnny joints come with grease zerks from Currie. We planned to just use a high quality chassis grease for the joints. They will be easily serviceable from under the car, so someone will just grease them regularly.
