Might be time consuming to do. Also increase the weight of the part. |

I think this is a Ridler contender..... Well.... it might be if it wasn't a late model.
AL --- Is this YOUR car?? I don't remember the beginning details and am too lazy to run back through the thread. The textures - the color changes - the detail - is just over the top Kool. |
The level of detail is amazing.

Thanks guys for the props.
Though I post a few update pics of Nathan project.. Pick up a new Hammerhead from DSS. This is a bullet proof piece as it will handle 1,400 HP. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6473cf72.jpg But as you can see the casting is really rough. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps895d4f73.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps811da130.jpg So the boys went at it. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3d96722f.jpg Once it was completely smooth, it was blasted. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps63351014.jpg Next it was ultrasonically clean to make sure there no left over residue. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...psb9459c47.jpg Finaly product. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6e6daf8b.jpg The lid got the same treatment. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps52bd9879.jpg The section were the bushing mount were polishing for some contrast. The piece was powder coated texture black (sorry no pics). http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7854e344.jpg Waiting on ARP stubs to reassemble. |
Here are a few pics of the rear spindles.
Before http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps448d912e.jpg The red circles represent all the bumps that were removed. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...psd4a2e937.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0ff0f5bb.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...psa05ee385.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps10481e58.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...psaff307a9.jpg Sneak peek of the rear sub. All the bushing were replace with anodize solid pieces. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5475bc28.jpg This is a Flex-a-lite radiator for Gen 5 that was going to go in the car but decide to sell and have a new radiator custom made because new radiator will be tuck under the core were you wont see it. Before selling this one, the boys decided to give it a little love. They painted the radiator black and polished the fins on the tanks and brushed between each one. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0d59097a.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5199e48f.jpg |
