I mounted the rear Speakers. Infinity Kappa's 6x9 3ways. I glued a 3/16 board to the back of the divider, cut out the holes, added carpet to the back, and then mounted the speakers.

Well, the car is almost ready for paint. A few surprises here though.

Biggest surprise, the front flares and fender rocker panels cut from the fiberglass fenders and moulded on to steel fenders.

Front nose is a bolt on piece now! The upper nose piece was by far the most time consuming.

Rear end caps have nice and tight gaps.

I repainted the panels with the NAPA 4003 Texture product and Krylon BBQ Paint. Even with the flash, it does not reflect like the other hammered stuff. It doesn't matches the original panels exactly, but is very close.

I rebuilt the vent wings. Even after many hours of polishing, it does not remove the pitting. But it is better than it was. New rubber inside, on the front door edge, and new felt lines the window channel. The only special tools need to repair these items is a narrow rivet gun, and a small punch (I used a small drill bit) to drive out the roll pin to replace the wing locks.

I inspected the car today. They are not as far along as I would like them to be, but the work looks very good. There is still so much that needs to be done!!!!

I cut the bezel from the back using a cutting disc on my 4" grinder, twisted the piece out, and finished it with a die grinder.

Then I mounted the JVC KD-NX5000. It fits very nicely.

I purchased the interior vent grills from Mustang Depot and mounted them in the sail panels. They fit very good.

I bought the Optima Battery and put it in the brackets.

My dilemma is.. should I mount it with the side mount cables hidden (to the passenger side) or have them visible from the inside?

How about facing rear and closer to the back so they are not that visible?

Here is the official dyno results. It is set at 10 lbs boost, and 38 degrees timing. The EFI is pulling out 1 degree of timing for every pound of boost. That will kill some horsepower, but I could add a switch and have a second tuning table for a higher octane gas. That is for when I REALLY need some get up and go! :captain:
