As long as you don't plan to park your daily driver in the garage you should be all good.

Spent Sunday cleaning out the garage and making room for the mustang.

http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...oads/image.jpg
The pile behind the 57 still needs to be dealt with, it's a garbage and for sale section now.
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...ds/image-1.jpg

Measures roughly 20x40 which works well enough. The plan is to put something in the backyard in a year or two and rip this one down.
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...ds/image-4.jpg

I purged a couple years ago, at one point I had my bronco, a Henry J the Studebaker and my dads 64 sport fury all packed in....nothing got worked on other than the Studebaker. Kind of nice having it set up for just two cars.

I grew up on Oahu and spent the last 3 years living in Kailua... Just think back to what that new garage would have cost you to build there!!! Oklahoma is much more car friendly as well without the salt air!

Wow talk about an upgrade! Very Nice..

Dscott 11-14-2014 02:46 PM

My set up 1500 sq ft heated fully insulated. Can hit 70F inside in -15F weather. Boat goes down the center cars on either side.

Love that Fountain!!! Nice set-up all around!
SEALS used the 41' Fountains as fast-attack boats back in the early 90's... 1200 hp and .50 BMG's... Man, those were some fun times!!!

Me? No, I was a FAST team Marine. We trained a little with SEAL teams when the units were first formed, I was part of the first group in 1987.

The Fountains the teams were using in the late 80's were kevlar hulled but otherwise standard offshore racing boats with no frills but a lot of com equipment and armament. Team 6 had 4 of these craft, all in a dark blue. In 1990 they had new boats that were specifically built to their specs and they were painted in a camo pattern. These you can find today for sale, the early ones were pretty much destroyed in operational use.

3 car in Vegas

Its not what I imagined for a "shop", but in Vegas with realestate being at a premium I did what I could with my 3 car attached garage...

Would you believe that photo in the great Pacific NorthWET?? That was taken TODAY...

There truly is no place better in the summer (when the sun comes out) than here. No big bugs - no hail storms busting your windows - no tornado sirens - rarely any flooding (and only then if you live ON the river that's flooding) - no humidity.

All of this wonderfulness for AT LEAST 60 WHOLE DAYS PER YEAR (July 12th 'til September 15th)!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Lol!!! ...'was reading back on some ideas for the shop when i came across this... So sunny day's are about to end soon at your place eh Greg?

For me, here in Quebec, its just the beginning of the best days the whole year generally brings!! Sunny w/ 18*to 22/23* with generally a light wind flipping the leafs, perfect for working outside under the car port while all dressed up to be protected and NOT be sweating it coffee in hand!!! (Car port is in front of the shop/ and same size as it @ 20x36' for total of 20x72 "shop").

Ooohhhh coming winter.... Please be like the last few ones; short duration and low on snow!!! (Hurray for global warming!!!..... Shhhh!! Dont tell anyone i said that!!)

Lead.

Thx. Floor is porcelain wide plank tile. PEI rating of 4, full redguard floor sealer under it. Grout is all industrial epoxy (heat and chemical resistant). It's designed to be abused. My house 3 car garage has 100% epoxy solids floor and it's been abused pretty hard in the last 5 yrs.
