I was thinking it would be slick to have your tailgate look normal when closed and then meet even with your new raised bed floor when open. I came up with a quick and dirty sketch on one way that might be done. Im sure it would take some math and tweaking to get right but it could be worth it.

Crazy, great minds think alike. Ive had that up my sleeve the entire build.

Thats going to look sweet Nick.

You may have some clearence issues with that sway bar placement.....

Few updates, not much progress due to work, side work and buying a home. But I hope to have some time to get this thing done soon.
First off the brakes, huge thanks to fullthrottledan who welded these hats up for me. Moser redrilled them. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4887.jpg Rears http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4908.jpg The money picture! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4890.jpg Going to have to run flush mounts up front to clearance on the caliper http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4893.jpg I'm building two air tanks that will sit between the body mounts under the rocker. I'm using heavy wall due to them being so close to the ground http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4898.jpg Couple of the firewall and trans tunnel I'm working on http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4883.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4886.jpg The side will be radiused to accept the wheels http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4888.jpg Trans tunnel http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4896.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4897.jpg Shifter location is perfect http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4899.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...o/IMG_4900.jpg |
