Nice fit ,just like the ultimate COPO .

WSSix 02-25-2009 10:19 AM

Love it but I would change the engine cover. I know it's a Corvette engine but the car is not a corvette. Maybe make a brushed aluminum insert for the sides where corvette is stamped. The insert could have Camaro on it or just be plain. That way the cover is still there brining people's attention to the fact that it's unmistakably an LS9 but it doesn't say corvette on it.

Or just remove the cover all together and show off the supercharger and everything in all their glory.

Holy crap!!!!! This thing is sweet! I love the way that motor looks in the engine bay.

I'm glad the build style of this car is understated, because if its message was any louder...wow!

camcojb 02-28-2009 04:09 PM

Yeah, Charley was out playing with his Duramax today........ :) We were talking about all the projects he has right now, I'd guess he has as many un-finished as finished, maybe more...............

Looking good, I think you should ship it over to the Ring and see if you can top the ZR1's time. I like the color too.

To continue the ZR-1 theme to the back of the car, it would be interesting to see how the exhaust would look done in the style of the the ZR-1.

Stuart Adams 03-04-2009 09:00 AM

Happy yellow. Looks great, get new cool shoes before you drive this one...

I want a ride for sure. If you are going to take it to any goodguys autocross events along the west coast shoot me a PM. Or I guess I could get off my butt and go on power tour.

Spiffav8 03-04-2009 09:12 AM

Very Nice. Clean, smooth and not over the top on trick parts. Perfect blending of the old and the new.

I have no interest in Autocrossing so I guess you just have to get off your ass and do Power Tour. Once you do you will regret all the ones you have missed.

ZMAN1969 03-04-2009 10:32 AM

help!

Charlie, just following up with my offer to give you a hand with this problem you've got going now - which car to take on the tour. If you want to take more than one I'm still willing to follow you with one of the "old wore out p/t cars" of yours, this way you wont be feeling like you left the wife at home :D
Seriously, I will be asking you again this year- see ya on the road

Charley........You also need some Yellow Tinted Maui Jim's to go with the new Ride and shoes.............

clill 03-04-2009 01:56 PM

I can't afford the Maui Jim's. I bought Capstone stock.....

kwhizz 03-04-2009 02:00 PM

The yellow lenses allow you to see better contrast, especially with old people and cataracts, so they probably would benefit him, your right Ken, LOL.
