I love all the details like the recessed bulkhead fittings etc, there's loads of great ideas in this

are you going to run a scoop up into the engine cooler?

tones2SS 09-02-2010 09:20 AM

Looks great Billy. What a car she will be!

Thanks, Originally I was going to do a scoop but decided not to. I didn't want to force anymore air into the engine compartment. I figured atleast having the cooler would be better than not.

The interior guy came out and did the headliner and carpet. Here are a couple shots.

That's a badass machine Billy. Very well done

OnEdge 09-20-2010 08:06 PM

Totally Wicked! Love everything about it. I noticed in the build you had a cowl hood. What made you change hoods? I really like the look of the plain hood. On the radiator support it looks to be smoothed on top.I know the factory has wrinkles in it, how did you go about smoothing that out? I can't wait to see it in person some day!

camaro41701 09-20-2010 08:38 PM

There was a 68 C-10 that matched the Nova at RTTH's.Super clean truck.Looked like it would run and handle with it also.

BritishGreen68 09-21-2010 02:03 AM

wow. One of the nicest Ive ever seen, I love that you kept the body mods to a minimum, and the flat hood and chrome bumpers and mirrors, the stance.. I wouldn't change a thing...

camaro41701 09-21-2010 09:37 AM

Could not get enough of this car Saturday.Just kept going back and seeing something different every time.None of the pictures on the internet gives this car justice.Especially the color.

notorious1970 09-21-2010 09:45 AM

coolwelder62 09-21-2010 12:52 PM

6spdcamaro 09-21-2010 05:23 PM

The car looks awesome in person Billy. The attention to detail is incredible. Thank you (and jay) for all of your help this weekend. Because of you guys we were able to make it to the airport in time. That epoxy on the distributor rotor held up all 800 miles back to New York.

Thanks again
Kenny

phillym5 09-21-2010 06:11 PM

Wow.... that Nova is beautiful!!

72novadriver 09-21-2010 06:48 PM

Thank you Guys, Hopefully next week I'll have some new video footage. Planing on taking it out to gingerman to open her up.:woot:

Thanks, I always had planned on running a flat hood. I prefer the subtleness of it. For the Rad support It was a repop so it didn't have most of the big wrinkles like the factory one. I just used a hammer and dolly to remove the remaining ones.
