Very Nice Doug! Great work. Are you going to hard mount the Exhaust and us braided stainless flex pipe in the front?

It's all hard mount. Brett has a great plan for the exhaust. He is thinking about the future of the car ---when the DSE sub goes in---and the mini tubs--and forming as much as he can now towards that future. :G-Dub:

Mr. Big Fresh 'Wander,

These changes are really all cuz of the dubs, right?

Metalic termites are common in So Cal---especially on cars equipped with 19's and 20's. Still have one of my favorite purchases to put on the car brother--your old carbon fiber inner fenderwells. Still sitting here at the casa awaiting their turn this next year.

Not per se----but certainly a part of it broham. It's more a result of the desired ride height than anything else. We'd be making these cuts regardless of 18's, 19's or 20's. Shoot, maybe we should go supersonicdub and slap on some SickFish 22's on the back. :disgusted:

Couple pics of the Drag Radial Car--I've made a lot of progress on it over the past couple of months. Getting the hood painted right now, then he will shoot the rear of the car where it was modified for the wheelie bars and chute mount.

Pic of Interior mostly finished up---Racepak dash and intercooler still finishing up.

Um you better not wait :smiley_smack: :poke:

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, you knock it out of the park. Way to go Fab 53! I am about as pumped as can be. Can't wait for the labor day autocross now. Great work as always brother---will be hard to wait to see it. Thanks for giving me such great news for the weekend.

Your drag car is above "BADDASS"!!! Have you raced it much in the past?? You do have the best of both worlds

JD, it has been down the past 5 years---had a new chassis done for the car from the firewall back. That required rewire, replumb and new interior for the car. It's taken me way longer than I ever thought it would. The fastest the car went in the past was 8 45s at 175. Hoping for 7 80's with the new setup---hoping the car can now put down the power it has. Not sure it has enough--but we will see. I am way down on power compared to the big boys out there now---I cannot possibly spend funds that fast to compete. The car is strictly for my fun now---just like the black one---all about the guys around it and fun competition.

I think I wet myself after seeing that Green car! The black one is so slick. I love them both.

Brett - On cuts like that, what about making templates out of 1/4" plywood or tempered masonite that you could clamp to the frame rails? Those would be quick and produce pretty clean plasma cuts. :sieg:

Just for the info, I like to use smaller grinding and cutting tools for this type of removal. More control goes along way when you get close to outside body panels that are not suppose to be cut. I mostly use my air grinders with 1.5 inch to 3 inch wheels and even pull out the Dremel.
