Man does that look tasty. That is one of my favorite color combos on a 69. Always loved the red with black stripes. Hard to go wrong with that combo and it shows! Congrats on being that much closer to having a finished car. You are doing an amazing job on this one.

Listen Jeff ,everything you have done to this car is friggin bad azz !! And you did it yourself, I can't say the same. I just put the foundation together for Troy and he took the rest over. I will be painting the car and a few other things but at the end of the day it comes down to quality of work and yours my friend is right up there with all of them.

Thanks Mario that is a much appreciated compliment from you,I do take a lot of pride in my work but wish I had the equipment and the welding abilities that a lot of these guys have, how long before you get to start on your body and paint work?

Well call me after you get it blocked out with about 5 different grits… Then I'll hop right over and burn through what's left of your clear.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That sounds like the time I tried buffing new paint on my Z/28 back in the 70's. My painter hide the buffer now when I'm around.

I have a set of Recaro Specialist S seats ordered and have just bought everything else.Bought a package tray and kick panels from The Shop LLC,super nice, went with custom deluxe door panels,DSE roll bar,Clayton Machine Works pedals, gone to look a lot like Jeff Duponts 69 that Jay Doerfler built, his car is exactly the way I really like a car, slightly custom but not over the top.Are you making any progress?
