Heres another picture taken from the lower rear of the car. You can kind of see how the color flops between dark charcoal and black. This is one awesome color for sure!

And I hear Tracy Weaver is coming this week to start. The next few weeks should be great.

There is no bigger fan of Troys work them myself! and the colors he picks are Usually!!!! very cutting edge!
BUT this color really is not working on this car! I have been seeing a trend lately of wrong color choice either through choice or just trying to duplicate anothers build, and im usually not to far off on color. But for the final decision we all know how important its is to decide on final color and theres not a more important decision that will make or brake a car.
I have even loved some of the cutting edge choices on troys rides, I will hold my final decision till columbus to see it in person but NOT digging this bland color. Hope theres some two tone or some sweet graphics comming soon needs some help!

syborg tt 06-09-2008 07:38 AM

trust me when you see the color & the two tone in person you'll be impressed.

You've been pretty supportive of the car which we appreciate...dont let these pics sway you. Like Marty said, you have to see it in person. Are you making it to columbus?

Heres another picture with doors on it. These pics don't really do the car justice and its a junky pic off of my phone. There are a lot of details to take in with this car. Anyone that makes it to Columbus will be able to pull it all together, its pretty awesome.

Also, thanks to diamond audio for seriously hooking us up!!
later--

That pic is awesome! Look how far the rear brake is tucked under the rear quarter, that will look killer when the rear wheels are on, stance should be right on! Can not wait to see it!

G-Body 06-10-2008 08:56 PM

Yes I will be there its only about 120 miles from here! Wonder if hes bringing the 40 ford they just finished! sweet Hot Rod.
And as for the paint its just a personal thing And I will say more after i see it person, but it just seems to be missing something non the less absolute beautiful car every build Troy does should have a build book done on it you could learn more from one build than most would in a whole year of english class. lol

Garage Dog 65 06-11-2008 09:41 AM

They had the 40 at this past weekends Indy Good Guys event - and it is so nicely done that you can hardly tell they worked it over - beautiful stuff. And the Rads crew couldn't stop talking about who nice the Nova is coming out. They had the build pics playing all the time at their booth - high res and big screen looked sweet ! Can't wait to see it in Columbus !!!!

Bad94 06-11-2008 04:23 PM

A buddy/customer of mine talked to Troy about rubber seals, he works for Soft Seal and troy sent him some pics. He said the car is insane.

I cant wait to see it.

I was kidding you about the cell pic of course, but I like that you took it from a wide angle. Shows a lot.

Been working on the car this last week,Just came home for Fathers day with the kids and wife,The car is outstanding, the paint colors look better in person.Love the stripped down muscle car theme. The guys in the shop are doing a Great job putting it back together. The colors are real sinister looking.I was told there will be a BUILD BOOK on it.I'll be there when they fire it up.Looking foward to that. The Rad Rides shop has there s**t together that is for sure.

It'll be great to see what you've created for it as well Tracy.

Troy want's to keep this one basic but very tight looking,he told me he was looking for something that would go in a street machine and look like it belongs there(no street rod stuff...ha ha) High on quality and fit thats for sure.Should turn out very nice, something that everyone will like.Jarod is wiring up a bad ass stereo.I will post up some pics as soon as were done and it gets closer to the show for the people that can't get there.Check out Rad Rides site for updates also.

Maybe this would be a good time to tell my younger brother (18) that this car exists. Because he has no idea about it. Its been hard not to slip up, but we mess with him sooo bad! Its great

Nah, why tell him now.

I think you should tell him that your going to Rad Rides to look at some cars. Then have Troy ask if he wants to watch them start the car.

I'm guessing this will be videotaped so you could ask Troy to say to your brother "You've been punked!"

Yes, sorry i didn't introduce myself. I meant to but then I think you were talking to Jared, and we were pretty overwhelmed with the car..trying to take it all in. We are visiting every week until the show. Did you see the glass they used on the driver and passenger side?? Pretty wicked.

Speakers aimed slightly at the passangers in the car. The system in this thing according to Jared is going to rock.
The glove box is big enough for speeding tickets and thats about it.
