Rich spilled the beans a few days back!

ha haaa!... So when do you start the Lamaze classes?

Will you be setting up a TV in the race car so your kid can watch Elmo?

GregWeld 04-01-2014 09:07 PM

Well you and Susie know how I feel about it since you managed to wake up the "text train"....

I see go kart racing in your future.

XOXO

XOXO

Great news.

Every time I think I'm free, they pull me back in. :_paranoid

I was going to tell you I felt your pain, but that must be the chain I was left off of, because I haven't received 600 texts today.

Wow Congrats! I'm happy for you.

I just went to the classified section didn't see the project for sale yet.
Remove the stripes if you want some resale value.

sik68 04-02-2014 10:15 AM

What! That's awesome, DG, huge congrats to you two!!

gerno 04-02-2014 10:47 AM

Congrats on the great news. I wonder how long until you're looking to upgrade to twins or triplets.....

Damn True 04-02-2014 11:06 AM

You do realize that this project will take a minimum of 18yrs to complete and will be on your health insurance for 26yrs?

Leroy Rochester 04-02-2014 01:16 PM

Our first race in the '67 was in April 2004 at Cal Speedway. My wife was there, 7 months pregnant with our first. Hope you get to enjoy a similar experience real soon. Congratulations dude!

My suggestion... If you want to keep racing, buy your kid a snap-on box instead of a kart!

:y0!:

Just remember it's a 24/7 job with crappy pay. I had a lot more free personal time when I was working 6 - 9 to 10 hour days weekly........a LOT more time!

Good decision. I stayed at home with both our kids. Prison hasn't been that hard for them.

My Butler seat arrives this week and I am heading down to the shop to test fitment and placement of that, steering, pedals, etc.

I am sure some other shenanigans will ensue...

^^ funny you should mention the shop discount ^^ There is protective riding gear and helmets now.

I hopped on last night for the first time in a month, fully clothed in gear, and ran a new low of 30.65 with a 2nd pass at speed to a 29.41. Good luck everyone. Lol

Looking forward to your visit Dave.

Dang man I just need to focus on improving my time a little bit at a time. :D

At least I am not in last place (ahem... Ron? :lol)

Rob said he's bringing his leathers and gear.

Pretty stoked. 2014 should be the year I get to drive my vision of a stupid pro-nothing/race-touring car and then be a father. Not a bad year if it all pans out.

Oh, and before anyone says the car better get done ASAP before my clock runs out (maybe partially true) the project will not be hurried and will not be compromised on what we (Brett & I) want.

It's done :whenitsdone: :D

Congrats Dave, great news. I should be Stateside in November, so if all cool I'd like to visit
