Abs.
Love this build. Im assuming that you needed to change the wheel speed sensors when you changed to the Bosch ABS unit.
I think the Bosch unit communicates over the CAN bus with the BCM. Are you going to take advantage of the traction control? Did you need to add the interior switches that communicate with the BCM for the different traction control levels? Looking forward to more updates. Keith Quinn. |

The Bosch system requires the stock Corvette ZR-1 active wheel speed sensors. So that was not a real big deal. It does have a lot more CAN interface and a driver selectable ABS switch. Because Bosch is the supplier for the ABS for both the Z/28 and the ZR-1 they can interface with the Carbon brakes better. Mark |
Flat cleared carbon parts.
A few pictures of the flat cleared carbon parts for the engine compartment we finished up.
The bottom of the hood is also flat cleared carbon. Looking forward to seeing them on the car! http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps805c2eb6.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...psa440a5bb.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...psa29ab9c5.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps69d398f3.jpg |

That satin clear carbon is pure awesome. It is going to look killer as the backdrop for Marks pseudo-OEM appearance underhood

Watching this thread is just not fair. This car is an absolute thing of beauty with every single piece thought out to the Nth degree. Amazing work and the perfect car to strive for.

Sema?
Mark, will we be able to see XV at SEMA this year. Just curious if we can see this beautiful machine there. The pictures are great but it's always better seeing a car in person.
