Flash68 09-11-2014 04:44 PM

Was the first thing purchased off our registry was this. The only thing I added to that list. :D

Of course it came in red and I had it returned for the requisite Viper Blue.

Ha.. he'll be able to reach up to the Nascar roll bar clamp bottle holder I am hoping.

WSSix 09-11-2014 06:49 PM

My friend had one for his child when he was still in a car seat. They are great car seats.

Vegas69 09-11-2014 07:35 PM

Good to see that someone in the Gordon family will be in a harness soon. :action-smiley-027:

Ron in SoCal 09-11-2014 09:33 PM

So we're down to baby seat thread updates now? At least put it in the car and take a pic, willya :twak:

With a name like Recaro I would think so. :D

Patience my friend.... after a 6 year Camaro build I would think you would be in tune with that word. :action-smiley-027:

Awesome! But baby's going to complain about lack of lateral support and want a Kirkey.

Well if he does, that little blue Recaro can come out and he can sit directly in the 16" Kirkey beneath it!

Strangely enough, there are more houses technically "on my street" than in my "subdivison".... figure that one out. :headscratch:

So I search for and find this thread. Baby seats for a race car? :)

Any updates from the Fab53 skunk works? I texted Brett trying to distract him by coming out to Adam's on Tuesday but I didn't hear back. Maybe he is hard at work on your car!

Ha look how far we've come Chad since we met up with our "simple" SBC leaf spring Camaros years back.. :D

I did fly down to Fab53 last Saturday for about 6 hours to make some design decisions and work with Brett on some things. He is further along already and I know he is chugging on my car (in between dirt bike hot laps of course).

Some recent pics.... these were version 1 of the flares.. they already look different than these pics. :)

Sweet! progress pics. Sorry I missed you while you were down last weekend.

The flares are cool. Dfresh gave me a sneak peek at them on his phone earlier today. I can't wait to see this bad boy at a track!

Yeah simple Camaros on leaf springs. If someone tried to tell me what I was going to end up doing with my Camaro when I bought it.... I probably wouldn't of bought it lol.

those are just the supports to make the buck then the mold for the glass final. The other shot looks like glass to me.

Richio1 09-25-2014 06:48 AM

Very nice. I'm digging them.

Ah ok. Makes sense. Shows how much work goes into making a good fiberglass part.
