NonameStang
I never did formally introduce myself or my project here on this site. I do spend many hours checking the cars out and trying to learn what I can from the pro's.
My car began as a fairly straight 6 cyl. 67 mustang that was very basis. I knew I was eventually doing away with most of the original equipment. Because of this, I decided to spare the more sought after mustangs and just get something that would be a good base. Despite how I felt at the time of purchase, this was not in the best of shape. In the 4 yrs of owning it, I have replaced the battery tray, cowl patch panel, both door skins, both rear quarters, driver side lower cowl panel, that is all I can think of now. My future plans are to build new floor pans, trunk, fill in upper side louvers, make lower vents somewhat fuctional, and build either roll bar or 6-8 pt cage. The mods. I have already did: filled in antenna, flush mount rear lights, installed subframe conn., smoothed the firewall, smoothed the cowl vents, removed drip rails, installed GW coil over for front, martz chassis 4 link in the rear, and some what finished with the mini tub. It has baer brakes, tcp power r&p, and will be powered by a 418 windsor, hogans upper and on a sportsman's block, and richmond 6spd, with 3.89 rear gear and truetrac. When the new PHR came in the mail I took one look at the cover and said damn, I wish that could someday be me(I'm sure thousands would agree). Parson's Nova is great motivation for me. I love to see people out of the spotlight get recognized for the quality of work they can produce. Anyway, not trying to write a book here. Here are a few pics of my car. I have been waiting to get to a point in the build that I could take pictures that I could be proud of. The job and a 2 yr old, and working on the car for the most part by myself, doesn't yeild itself to fast progress. Let me know what you guys think. BTW thanks for Lat-G  . http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nt=mypiece.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s/mypiece2.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...t=IMG_1833.jpg |

You answered a question I have had for a while. "Will 335's fit with a mini-tub" I actually have a 70 sportsroof I will be working on soon I hope. The Martz 4 link looks like a good set-up. I have been eyeing that suspension for some time now. thanks |
I am pleased with the apperance of the rear kit. Since the rear was all hacked up I had them build me a complete kit with new rails and all. It is somewhat based on their ladder bar kit but with a modified 4 link. The frame rails were both moved inward and have a 10" kick up instead a traditional 7(I believe). I seriously doubt 335's will fit while using the factory rear frame rails. I just hope the heim joints are not too harsh on the street.
