Dse 69 camaro dash

Had a spare 25 or so hours this weekend, so i installed it in my 69 .Im an idiot so i ordered it blank so i had to make my own holes for the headlights and wipers along with the gauges.Got chrome l.e.d lights for the signal lights, had to pop out one green one and put a blue led bulb in for the high beams. The piece fit pretty nice being the cars so old and this piece is new.now the interior looks alot better as the stock dash looked dated

Cool. If/when you cut the radio in, be sure to cheat it to the right and not center it.

I need to do the same thing.did you use a hole saw or a jig saw to cut the larger holes?

surreyboy 07-04-2007 09:15 PM

i used a hole saw, as long as you keep it level with the metal it cuts ok, anything crooked and the hole saw likes to jam up, i used a 2 inch one for the small guage and a 4.5 inch one for the speedo and tach, had to file the 4.5 out because they require 4 5/8 hole , but i couldnt find a 4 5/8th hole saw
