SEMA party is a Go

This is a bit early, but I know a lot of people have asked about it, so I'll let you guys know that our SEMA party is a Go, but is subject to the warehouse complex association written approval. Steve doesn't anticipate that being an issue.

It's been a lot of fun doing this over the past several years and I look forward to it again this year. We raised nearly $3400 for charity last year and I really hope we can do better than that this year. :)

For those that have been to it in the past, it's the same place and time as in the past; Wednesday night at the Sandlin Lumber warehouse.

I'll have a lot more details and info in the coming months.

Cool! This year we'll have a little more time in the schedule... (I've been saying that for the past 12 years...:goofy: ) but we'll be there this time!

Scott,
A suggestion. Since this has turned into a very beneficial fund raiser, why not have a small, informal auction with some of the swag you usually give away. It is a cool way to raise money and always fun too.

kwhizz 08-02-2007 06:37 PM

Count me and my "Princess" in.........Bruce needs someone to keep him in line.....LOL

Hey Scott, Let me know if you are going to do the benefit auction thing... I might be able to 'dig up' something to donate. ;)

XcYZ 08-02-2007 07:51 PM

Thanks Kevin, I appreciate that. I know you have access to some really cool stuff.

We're looking into different options for the fundraiser. :)

Hdesign 08-02-2007 08:12 PM

Count me in and let me know what I can do to help (auction, donations...whatever!)

Musclerodz 08-14-2007 10:16 AM

I might be able to bring a few things if you can let me know what I can do to help.

Count me and Rob in.....

One suggestion.... any chance of having some transportation arrangements to get from Sandlins back to the strip ??? Maybe a couple of shuttles that depart at a specific time ??

Rob and I tried to get a cab, but ended up bumming a ride from someone that had a car. Not too many cabbies are going to make the trek all the way out there and the wait is really long if they do..

Getting a cab out there is no problem. Getting one back is...

Sandlins

What part of town is Sandlins in? I usually drive to Vegas for the show, I'll need something to do other than bar hopping.

bigtyme1 08-16-2007 07:08 PM

I'm in along with 3 guys. Try to take some shirt and decals for sale if possible.Had a blast last year.

If anybody is staying at the Flamingo we can join in for a Limo. The Taxis never seam to make it back to pick me up.
