Poltergeist - Good call. I'm STILL afraid of clowns. :_paranoid
But you know what's probably going to be even scarier? The people on Halloween Night wandering the streets of Las Vegas during SEMA. :goofy: |
Jaws. I can't think of any other movie that has left a lasting sense of fear or apprehension about doing something like getting into the water. The scariest part about it is that it's possible, though extremely unlikely.
I also like the Saw movies. |
The first Nightmare on Elm Street.
That was a chilling experience.LOL |
Original Psycho.
A movie called "Dog Soldiers". |
Jaws is one of my all time favs if not favorite movie. I've worn out a few dvd's of it.
Not sure if I would clasify as horror, well I guess so. Anyway, I saw that movie when it came out and guess where Mom & Dad took me during the summer? Yup Jersey shore, where the attacks that inspired the book and movie happened. |
Coincidentally, speaking of GW sharks, there have been 3 seal attacks of the coast of Chatham, MA by GWs in the past 2 weeks which is extremely rare. I think I heard they closed the beach down.

Thats sooo funny , Theres actually been none!!! there was a shark sighting only , it was seen eating a seal very close to shore and they've blown it all up!!! I grew up in Chatham and thats were my office and shop is. Last year we were swimming on that beach and we saw a shark about 20feet off !!! They're there and thats were they live . It was called in as a shark attack and ever since the news trucks have been all over it!! lol lol :willy:  |
American Werewolf in London :_paranoid

You've got to include some George Romero.... Any and all of the Romero and Romero-inspired zombie movies are good, i.e.,
Night of the Living Dead (1969 & 1990) Dawn of the Dead (1978 & 2004) Day of the Dead The Return of the Living Dead movies are good too (well, the first two anyway), if you like a little more humor in your zombie apocalypse tales. Oh, yeah, Lucio Fulci's Zombie is good, and so is Michele Soavi’s Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetery Man, 1994)! |
The original " The Spiral Staircase " What about " The Ring" ? Talk about a creppy movie .
|
rob zombies movies!! house of 1000 corpses, the devils rejects, and the new halloween is gonna be bad ass!!!
|
The "Re-Animator", movies are pretty fun if you enjoy outrageous humor.
"Dead Alive", the unrated version is said to be the goriest movie ever made, and believe it or not it's really funny because it is so over the top. You mentioned Evil Dead, but you should of mentioned the Evil Dead Series. Part 2, and 3 are simply hilarious, as well as being scary. Enjoy, Ty |
Definately all good stuff, Thanks guys
