Woo Hoo.. Penny is going to SEMA!
I just got the word. My '68 will be in the Wilwood booth at this years SEMA. The saw the deal in Super Chevy and called me about it.
It's always been a goal of mine to have a car at SEMA, so this is pretty exciting. She's not up to the standards of some of the super high end stuff that will be there, but she should be able to represent our segment well. Oh, and here's Wilwoods new banner for events. I think they will be using it at the next Good Guys show. I begged and they made me an extra one for the garage :woot: I guess I REALLY need to get the car done now.. lol http://www.lifeinwidescreen.com/siih...-camaro_sm.jpg |
Congrats, she sure as hell will hold her own at Sema. That is soo cool.

Actually about three more weeks at BOS then the wiring, the interior, the fire system, the track computer, re-dyno tune, align, corner scale... It shouldn't be too bad.. or did I just jinx myself??? :_paranoid |
LOL, I remember when this car was going to be just a driver/track car.....hehe
You SOLD the show car....REMEMBER???? At least I had it in my trailer once in its history.... Congrats Steve, it is well deserved. Sweet car back when, even better now. |
Definitely congrats Steve! Yeah I agree with Bill I thought Penny was a "track queen"...

Her cage welds are a bit slaggy.. and her panel fit isn't perfect, but that just means I don't have to worry about getting a rock chip or two. I would've been at the track already is that dufus hadn't hit me.. To be honest Wilwood liked the car because it had a track feel to it with low bling and it wasn't "optioned out". |
That's awesome Steve. You and your car deserve to be there.
|
congrats Steve, your car should definately draw a good crowd for Wilwood!!
|
Congrats, Steve! Must make you proud. That's a great accomplishment. I feel better about my cage welds too :)
