I don't know which G-body you have but, this guy is making them for Monte carlo's.

I have this one for my el camino, and though Iam not completely
sure that I will use it..its another option for a gauge panel for a G-body and will fit Monte,Malibu, and Elky's.I might use it if I can update it with some aluminum pieces or something to upgrade it. Not too many options out there for G-bodys..not the most popular. Iam sure with some good finish work and detailing,it would be a better option compared to the old originals that don't work so well. The guy who sells them lives in Canada and is very nice..and will work it out with you great,he answered all my questions and sent mine well packaged and insured, and in a very fast and professional way. Here is his email..[email protected] Around $120.00 with shipping. Here is a picture! Not my carpet thank you! lol...:faint: Hope it helps.. -Jim http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/6...ypanelsbj1.jpg |
right now i dont have one im still looking around for a cheaper one thats not a rust bucket. just trying to make a parts list a little before i get one. thanks for the email addresses ill save it.

You could aways find a nice Grand Prix dash, and then install aftermarket gauges. The GP used round gauges, and a lot of them. Further, the GP didn't use tiny little gaues stuck in a small cluster, but instead used good sized gauges. Best looking of the G-body dashes in my opinion.

Dakota Digital makes replacement panels for almost all the G-Bodies

im one of the few that hates digital gauges give me a needle gauge anyday.

Just go with the GP 2+2 front end. Better looking (in my opinion) than the SS nose anyway. Lauren Engineering makes a 2+2 kit. Shiny Side Up! Bill |
i seen there site i like the grand prix aerocoupe kit or the camaro front end on a el camino

hi,
this thread is highly interesting for me. why ? i see often some cool cars, big engines, great suspension, perfect paint and wheels.....but....do not open the doors:willy: the interior, haha ! no ideas stock seats in a car with 500hp and killer suspension i will see this driver with high speed on a curvy road:rofl: just a show-cruiser not a driver the dash ? no ideas, only 2 extremes. the first is a high priced aftermarket dash with gauges or bone stock with 2 or 3 pinned and pegged gauges ideas please, build your own dash:thumbsup: my 1979 El-Camino in Europe:yes: http://www.chevy-elcamino.com/2006-05-14_05.jpg |
