Looking for a TOP notch g-Machine for a SEMA booth.
I'm searching for some cars to show a major mfg for consideration as thier booth car.
It's a wheel company and the chosen car will get a set of wheels/tires. HOWEVER, the car's owner will be responsible for transport to SEMA and expenses. So, what's out there that would be interested? I have some candidates but I want to make sure I'm not forgetting anyone. Oh, and no cars that will "hopefully" be done. Only ones that are done or for sure will be done. I have a feeling they are looking for brightly colored cars. The last person backed out due to the expense of moving the car. With two months to SEMA the company can't have people backing out. I need pics and specs to show them. :) |
My car will never be done so I'm out.

I've got this really nice 57 chevy that's ready to go.

1 vote for Paul's car
|
I like the Chevy 2 a lot, but the 57 is pretty hot also. I pick the Chevy 2
|
It depends on who the wheel company is. I have and old 57 chevy truck with corvette drivetrain in final assembly right now that is still waiting for an official decsion from another wheel maker. It was in Del Mar a few months ago.

Another vote for Paul! :D

Those are 3 bitchn' cars, I'm having trouble choosing between those 3. I can't imagine choosing 1 from all the responses you've probably already gotten.
|
This is no reflection on the other cars listed here, but I've seen Paul's car at Woodward a few weeks ago. It is very nice, extremely high quality.

It will depend highly on which wheel company it is........some wheels look better on cars than others do and it will be what the company feels will look the best with there wheels. There are some nice cars on this site some that have a spot and a bunch that have a maybe so it will be interesting
|
They are all sweet, agree with everybody about different wheels looking "right" on different cars, but think that 57 is INSANE. Was that a project car bought off ebay a year or so ago ? Great execution of a car. Love it without all the Bel Air bling. I need to see more pics.

This could get really exciting (and potentially ugly) really quickly!

I think they made a pick.. it's a brightly colored '69 Camaro. They wanted a g-Machine and that car just fits the bill. Love the cars posted and that Nova is killer! Thanks for the help guys! |

Their booth is set up with a particular color scheme, so they want to draw from some specific colors. I in no way am choosing the car, just sending them some choices. |
Brightly Colored '69 = stab in the dark for me

LOL...These have to be the Giovanni wheel guys that wanted the Mule a year or two ago. All their cars are silver and black. Mainly Mercedes etc with lots of bling. I think I was going to end up with a free set of some 22"s or 24"s . I laughed and told them politely no that the Mule didn't exactly fit the bling crowd.:unibrow:
|
Gee.... another 69 Camaro at SEMA
Thats original. How about something a little different? http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...g/P0002335.jpg |

Your normal g-Machine billet wheel deal.. Although the Mule would killer in some gold plated 24-inch spoked wheels.. :bling: |

I don't think they make wheels wide enough for the car though. I sent a link to this tread but I'm pretty sure they picked a car earlier today from this site. Send me info on this Nova though, I'm always looking for features and if another booth needs a car it's nice to know what's out there. |

Could you shoot info on it [email protected] Just the basic info and some low res images. That car needs to be featured somewhere.. |

Hey, send me a couple low res shots and info to the above email addy. Always looking for Ford feature cars. Thanx! |
To all:
Thanks for all the submissions. The cars are all sweet and I sent the info to the company. I will post tomorrow on what they decided. This site has so many fine cars that it must be hard for one to be chosen. |
I knew I should have painted mine a "bright" color:rolleyes: LOL

Oh how soon they forget!;)
Why not be original instead of blend in with the blare, boobs and bling of the whole show and show something completely original! If you can make a car that is unfinished look badass, imagine when it's done! My idea is: My car: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...mersonNova.jpg Pauls car! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...e/VanNus67.jpg Rodgers Truck! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...rIRONWORKS.jpg OK so I'm biased but, in my humble opinion, these are the three most relevant builds going on today that benchmark the look to what's in store for tomorrow! Not to discount anyone elses build but, honestly, a '69 camaro? As badass as they may be their kind of done in my opinion! Not to say I wouldn't want to have one as they are classic in their form and function but, again, in my humble opinion, they are done as far as being the poster child of G-machines! NOVAS my friends! 2nd Gen NOVAS! John(Cringing waiting for the onslaught of '69 owners ready to unload on me!) P.S. DAMN!! Forgot about "Blackeye", "Bad Penny" and "SyborgTT" in the relevant build category! |
I hope they make 'em big, I've got the winna.
