Got to ride in an '08 C6 ZO6 Today!!!
 

I had the opportunity to ride in a brand new (not even sold yet) 2008 Corvette C6 ZO6 today and I do have to say that Iam EXTREMELY impressed. I also rode in the 2008 C6 LS3 (430 Horse which was also very impressive) earlier in the day. Man is it good to know someone at a Chevy dealership...wink, wink! Anyway, all im gonna say is we didnt exactly pu$$y-foot around in those things. Heres some pics of the ZO6 (new color for '08) next to my bros Nova:

That had to be a great day!! I've seen other pics of the new color, what are your thoughts? Too light? Or is it close to the 60's LeMans Blue?

Personally I think it looks to Girly in that color. At any rate a baddass car

I liked the color it wasnt too light.

The color is JSB which is Jet Stream Blue. I looks much better in person. I agree, bang for the buck, it's hard to beat the C6Z in almost any category. :thumbsup:

Black on Black would probably fit my taste better too.

Of all the cars I have, my Z's are my favorite all around cars.. The blk one is under the knife right now, should be done by the end of the week. I will post the dyno sheets.. The red car is one of my track cars, it has coilovers, huge swaybars, solid bushings, 6 piston Brembos ect. I makes 571 rwh 513 rwt with cam, headers, intake and tune..

That had to be a good filing driving that car. You must have a grin on your face after dirving it. Man I wish I had a ride in one of those cars.

Hey 72 Nova, what did you think of the TR-6060 six speed that was in the 08 C6 ZO6? I'm hearing good things about it. I wonder how long before we start seeing them trickle into the aftermarket.

I didnt actually drive it, but just riding in it the tranny felt very firm, according to my friend, the thing shifts like nothing he has ever felt.

Is that color Nassau Blue or a variation of it?

This place on corvetteforum is selling 08 C6 1LT for under 40k. Great price considering that they come with the LS3 now that has the L92 heads, add a cam and headers and it will be a fast car.

Believe me , 08 C6 LS3 Vette is a fast car, i rode in one the same day as the ZO6. 430 horse... I was impressed, but for some reason the paddle shifters didnt work.

OMG, SW's black car looks so mean and nasty lowered on the big beautiful HREs! Well done! So sick....

I know they are pretty fast already, but 450 at the wheels isn't out of the question with cam, headers and a tune. For a 40k dollar car that is impressive.

The C^'s ZO6 or not are a great bang for the buck!
