Dead Cat it going to SEMA!

I could not be more thrilled. My car was picked by Weld to be in their booth. It will be sporting a set of their new wheels featured in Popular Hot Rodding, the one with John Parson's car on the front.

Thanks Steve for sending in my pictures with all the others that you sent for consideration.

I feel like I have been playing in the minors for years and got called up to pitch one game in the big leagues. A truly once in a lifetime opportunity.

The car is presently at the interior shop and should be back in a week or so. Hopefully I wil have pics and video soon.

Can't wait to see it in person.

Good job, Payton. I'll have to check it out as well.

Steve1968LS2 09-11-2007 07:56 AM

Congrats Payton. I sent Weld some top notch cars, so it's a big compliment they picked yours.

Now get that car done!!! lol

Your ultra-bright yellow car with the polished wheels should be a beacon at SEMA.

Thanks for all of the kind words

I have not been able to think of anything else since I have found out and I have this silly grin that will not leave my face.

My wife and my office staff think I have lost my mind.

Here are a couple of old pics. I will get some new ones soon. Obviously the wheels are going to be different.

Anyone interested in a set of OEM C6 rims and tires with about 30 miles on them?

Musclerodz 09-11-2007 11:34 AM

Very cool Payton, looking foward to seeing it there.
