Hey Jody, e-mail a front shot like that 2nd pic, but in higher res, I'll PhotoChop it for a really cool wallpaper. |
Yeah I would say that looks pretty nice :p
|
No it doesn't look nice, it looks freakin amazing.
Mike |
Man, that is one wicked looking motor. Looks kinda like R2D2 on Steriods!!!
|
That looks absolutely insane. Will it still fit under the hood? If not, I don't think you need to run a hood. It's just too puuurrdy to cover up.

Jody, what's the plan for linkage? Are you planning on a a rod end / link / bellcrank system to tie both TB's together and then using a single cable to work the bellcrank?
It's hard to tell in the photos but are the TB's feeding seperate plenums for each bank, or one common plenum? If it's a common plenum having the TB's slightly out of sync wouldn't be a big issue, but if they're each feeding a seperate plenum then I'd want them as sync'd as possible! Looking good... :) |

I'll let you engineer it Troy! I'm going to try turning them so the throttle shafts are in line with each other horizontally and connecting the two shafts and using a single cable for throttle. They feed a common plenum thankfully! Jody |
In-FREAKIN-Sane!!

Hey Mark! I'm using an LT1, no water in the intake. Jody |
jody , how much did you spend , where did you get , would you let me know so i can spend more money on my camaro .
thanks rick kirkindall 214 908 2100 call me :D |
Rick,
I was lucky to find a guy who was looking at my turbo headers and he told me he had this LT1 setup for sale. I bought it complete with the throttle bodies for $1900 brand new. It goes for about $3800 from Hogans with the Accufab throttle bodies. Jody |
jody , i have a427 sbc , hilborn efi , ft runner pully set up , 6 spd richmand
in my camaro . i am building a new motor w, twin banks turbos . it is all being done as w talk . and i like the way the hogan intake looks . thanks rick kirkindall |

Very cool setup Rick. I did the Hilborn EFI in a small block Cobra replica, LOTS of fun and looks awesome. You know the Mule started off as an IR setup and when they went to turbos they retained the manifold and fabbed up the trick plenum and dual throttle bodies. I think the Hogan looks great also and am glad the deal came up. I was going to run a modded single plane I had done for the LT1 with a Wilson 90 degree elbow and single throttle body, similar to what I did on my last Camaro just to be different. But the Hogan is another step beyond that and will be worth the extra effort of getting it on there. Good luck with your project and be sure to keep us updated with pics! Jody |

scott , thanks for your help .
rick kirkindall |
Dang it, Jody, you guys need to stop raising the bar!!
That intake looks great and it's good to see the engine all together. I woulda been happy with a modified single plane and elbow until I saw this. Time to start saving. |
