Big ones, REALLY big ones!

Found this on another site I frequent!
Figured you guys would be just as inspired as I was by seeing this!!

It's one thing to build these cars so close to perfection. It's another, to DRIVE them to within an inch of their performance limit....
and then there's the willingness to....

that could be a pic from most any year of Power Tour. It was raining so hard this year that we almost had to stop.

they get big props from me for driving it, that's for sure.

I want to know how Libby's Fairlane did with those 315's up front. I would think it would be more like skiing rather than driving.

libbys aka(jim hamptons) car goes better the faster it goes, too bad they weren't running the whole oval.

The Fairlane performed great! Being my first time on a track such as this, I pushed it further on each successive run. The only time it got a little squirrely was on my last run when I was doing about 100 into the hairpin turn that was basically entered on a right angle off the straight and I did not brake early enough. Even with my mistake, the car still got through unscathed. That day was an absolute blast!!

That is good news and suprising to hear. I have been second guessing 295's and 345's on my 68 Camaro. What tires are you running?

That was a rough turn! I overshot that turn(hydro-planed).:willy:
