Carbon Fiber hood arrived today
 

After a bit of a wait, the carbon fiber hood arrived today. It's an amazing piece, there's just no way to capture it with a camera.

I'll be taking it to Autokraft on Monday so Kurt can do the fit up of the front clip. More pics to follow.

You would think that after spending the last 5.5 yrs. building my car I would have had time to get all the neet parts, not the case! First Franks inner fenders and now this...I guess this industry/hobby is growing so quickly you just can't 'keep up'!!

19lbs!! The hinges and bolts holding it on the car might weigh more!

I would like to have one for my 10.5 camaro, they do a taller cowl thou, like a 6inch? Need to check them out.

19 lbs. That is just crazy. Imagine if we all had an unlimited budget, how light would the car be if the body was all CF?:willy:
