4 link and minitubs finished!

After a lot of saving and planning, I finally got around to finishing up the 4 link and the minitubs.
Next step from here is to have my wheels modified a bit to take advantage of all the extra space, then its 335/30/18s!

I promised myself I woulden't post any pictures of my car until it looks EXACTLY the way I wanted it to, but this is close enough, and I'm pretty excited about it all :D

fixed!

awr68 10-21-2007 02:21 PM

Looking great! What wheels are those? Who's doing the work?

4cefed 10-21-2007 02:21 PM

Thats a very clean car. Nice and simple.

awr68 10-21-2007 02:25 PM

What 4-link? Got any build pics?

ArisESQ 10-21-2007 05:12 PM

there we go. added a smaller pic

Its the DSE quadralink, and DSE minitubs. The cage, 4 link and minitubs were done at Pacific Fabrication in morgan hill, ca.

The car has been under construction for close to 7 years, so it feels really good seeing the car on the ground with close to the stance I wanted.

ironworks 10-21-2007 05:14 PM

Wow that thing is really cool.

Stuart Adams 10-21-2007 05:32 PM

Nice stance.

Mr.VENGEANCE 10-21-2007 05:54 PM

hahahahha

how did we go from VWs to this..

looks great!

class67 10-21-2007 06:08 PM

That looks really nice. I have to tear my car up and do the same thing soon.

ArisESQ 10-21-2007 06:51 PM

I'll post some more pics when I'm a little more satisfied with some other stuff. I'm hoping to send my wheels out to get widened next week, and while they are gone I have a lot of plans to tune the front suspension a bit, just so it has a bit more of the stance I'm looking for (until I can afford the AME clip :unibrow: ), and remove the front bumper.

I was also waiting for a carbon fiber front spoiler, but the guy I was buying it from got a little too busy. I should give ATS a call soon.
It's been a really slow build, since I have really limited funds, and can only do one thing at a time... it's ocming along though!

awr68 10-21-2007 07:08 PM

It will be worth the wait for sure!! All good things take time!! I'm turning the bend on 6 yrs on my car, so I know how you feel!!

I saw that place a few months back when my car was being dynoed 2 doors down. Cool guys. They had some cool projects going on.

awr68 10-21-2007 09:14 PM

The rears are currently 18x10 w/ 5.75 inches backspace, and I was running 295s. it was really really snug before, and now that there is no issue on the inner fender, i need to play with the offset to get them to sit further in the well.

and thank you!

I know that snug feeling you talk of, but I did the same thing to my Gto and could put a 355 if i wanted. I am loving the look of the camaro, really looks great. Oh how wide is the rim still a 18x10?

Rebird 10-22-2007 06:00 AM

Currently it is an 18x10, but it will soon be an 18x12 or so.

And thanks for all the encouragement! It's not completely done yet, but seeing it on the ground definitely motivates me to spend the time to finish it!

Payton King 10-22-2007 10:13 AM
