Can't wait any longer....Carter Hickman's rendering of my Cuda !!!
I've been debating posting the rendering on here ( I dont want anyone to steal our design), but I just have to do it !!!!
NO ONE HAD BETTER STEAL ANY OF THESE DESIGNS UNTIL AFTER I PAINT MY CAR !!!!! Carter has been awesome to work with. I highly, highly recommend him. we've done a ton of different designs and here are some of the finalists.... http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e.../2-3update.jpg http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...JDVM95/4-5.jpg http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...JDVM95/2-5.jpg http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...JDVM95/2-1.jpg http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e.../4-1update.jpg Tell me what you guys think...... |
I'm very impressed. Carter does fantastic work, and that car is bitchin'

Car is going to be awsome Ned. You're gonna make me build another car huh!
Steve |

:hail: carter does outstanding work!!i agree now id have one helluva time trying to decide which one to go with. really, looks aggressive.. GOOD LUCK FIGURING OUT WHICH DESIGN TO GO WITH.... RADRAMBLER |
Love the black with red on top wow
|
Awesome. #3. LOL. There all great. Cool car.
|
Wow, that is simply stunning. I love #4. I just watched the Rides episode of Rogan's Sick Fish last night. Beautiful cars.
|
Ned, thanks for letting me work on your project. I see my favorite is missing from this list? :D This is going to be an awesome ride when you get it done. Looking forward to watching this one progress!

Wow great looking renderings. Carter does some awesome stuff.
I like #1 and #3 myself. Gonna be a great project. Keep us posted. |
I like #2 or #3 the best.
I am getting tired of Red/Black, but its not my car. :) |
Yep Carter is awesome to work with!
I like #1 the best, but would have the two seperated like in #2...but with the #1 graffix...make since? Basically do #1 but harve the black/red paint line go to the top of the headlight for a cleaner look. |
All the designs Carter did are awesome. Its going to be real hard to make the final decision. I change my mind on an hourly basis (just ask Carter :D ).
I'm leaning towards a black and purple design since its more Mopar. My goal was to try and integrate some old Mopar stuff into a new style design And yes Carter, I decided to keep our favorite secret for now and not post it :) That one is the leading candidate and I dont want to have it snatched up before I get a chance to do it ... |
Carter does excellent work.. the tough part with these artists is making the finished cars look as good as the rendering!
Very nice.. |
They're all great!
I like #2 the most but any of them would be showstoppers! John |
DDDaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
amn. That's sweet. #3 for me. |
Super Sick!!!
First or the last one for me. I can't decide! |
#4 in my opinion.
|
Ned,
They are all damn nice, I like number 3. Good luck choosing. |
Damn!:wow:
But please don't shave the doorhandles, it rarely looks good IMHO. |
Sweet lookin for sure. I like #1 best:thumbsup:
|
So why doesn't the rendering have Chase sticking his head out the passenger window and slobbering all down the side of it?
J/K Ned... looks great! Have you made any progress since the last time I was over there? |
The stock door handles have to go....they are the ugliest design I have ever seen on a car. Big square and ugly as all hell....
I may decide to swap in another style handle rather than shave the handles, but the original mopar ones have to go for sure. Today I got the mock up motor all dropped in and a temporary steering system fabricated so the wheel dont flop all over when I roll it. So yes, Troy I have made some progress since you came over, but its a long way to go..... |
Hey Ned, I really like 1 and 4. It would be hard to choose. I would like to see a drawing in blue though. :D
|
The renderings look awesome. However I think you are going to have a really really really hard time picking the one you like.
ps - i've got some awesome billet hood pins that would look good on this car. ( sorry i'm not trying to be a salesmen ) |
1 and 4 it is. It looks really good in red and black. PLEASE DO 1 or 4
|
#1 (black top/red bottom) looks killer !
Nice work ! |
#1 Absolutely. Everyone does purple on Mopars! Sorry "PLUM" didn't mean to offend.
|
I like the black and purple.
Not a fan of the criss cross graphic. |
i definately like the first.. black on top better, the low color makes the car look lower, longer and sleaker... but enough with the renderings allready.. lets see what the paint is going on please...
|
I like #1 but, with black wheels &
I like #3. Do it the way you want, not what everyone else likes...... From those renderings you can't go wrong with any of them, they're all great! |
First, let me say I love the renderings,Carter certainly does some fine work.:hail:
That being said,I'd paint that badboy one solid color rather then the two-tone design which is so Chip Foose overdone nowadays...in my opinion. If it were mine,I would lean more towards something like Sublime Green or an Orange or Yellow with a carbon-fiber black hood...but it's not,so do whatever you like best. and more updates, please! |
OMG those look SICK!!! :wow: :wow: :wow:
First vote is #1 since I love the red/black combo. But I also like #4 since it is more of a Mopar color. |
#1 but with black wheels. Have you tried the rendering with black wheels like you did with the purple schemes?. I think the black top to red to black again at the wheels would look awesome.
The black top to body color below reminds me of some of the old T/A cars having body color on the sides and either black or white on the top, so I kinda dig that retro racer paint scheme. It also separates the black tires from the black sides - makes both the tires and wheels seem like a tied-in accessory having black on top v. next to them. BTW, that car looks awesome period - dig the renderings. |
#5 with chrome rims ?
The renderings are works of art  |
Thanks guys for all the comments on Ned's project. Ned, it was nice meeting you at SEMA. Someone actually took the promo page that you dropped off! Ned's cuda will be awesome. He has some great ideas and vision for the final product. The final paint scheme is my favorite and I think everyone will like it.
