crossram kinsler style ls2 intake
hey guys, looking at nineballs sema pics I saw someone was making a ls crossram, 8 stack intake, looked at kinsler etc but am not seeing anything, does anyone know if theres a release date?
thanks again jake http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/192/img2960af7.jpg |
Kinsler is developing a killer piece for the LS7. It is a laid over style with the carbon fiber velocity stacks crossing each other.
|
added pic, however i see it says ls1, any difference in ls1, or ls2 intake? who makes this piece?
|
I pulled a flyer on a company making some for
Fords and Chevys. They were in the building where you registered at SEMA. They were from Au but it was not Harrop. I will see if I can find the brochure. I know their intake was $8000...I thought I needed to leave a $10 on the table just for touching it.

In the pic with the 90MM throttle body, There is another throttle body that goes on the other side of the alternator. Yeah 2- 90mm throttle bodies. This bad boy should run. Since it has an F2 Procharger, an LSx block with the added bolts and All pro cylinder heads with a Magnesium crossram from Kinsler with 16 injectors. Wait until you see the car it is going in and the awesome drive train. That Kinsler manifold is awesome and made of magnesium. Serial number 001
Kinsler does not display at SEMA, since PRI is the true race show, SEMA has everybody. |

So what does that deal cost? About 11 million dollars? lol |
Barry Grant Stuff
If I'm not mistaken, the very top photo is a set-up that was in the Barry Grant booth at SEMA. The manifold was a total mock-up. The runners were solid!

If you look at my previous post you will see the magnesium manifold with the serial number 001. It is set up for carbon fiber ram tubes but we are running an F2 procharger so we need to make the tubing to fit to the throttle bodies.
Here is a pic with the carbon fiber ram tubes. If you have to ask how much it is you cannot afford this one. It is very expensive. But it is worth every penny. |
Nice!

Just to clear up any confusion.
The Kinsler unit officially debuts at the 2007 Performance Racing Industry trade show in early December. Attached are some old pictures to get an idea of the overall appearance. The manifold comes painted with anodized linkage etc. It is available with upper, lower, or multiple injector locations. The lower injector location hides the injectors under the manifold above the valley cover. If I can answer any questions please ask. Thanks, http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...n/DSCF1502.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...n/DSCF1503.jpg |
it was great meeting you at Woodward. Scott and I did the "secret tour" deal that you were at, very cool. Well that, and your car!
Thanks for the pics. Jody |
Killer. Thanks for taking a moment and posting. Looking forward to more from PRI.

For the intake in the thumbnail visit the Harrop website. They are based out of Australia. I believe that intake is listed at something like 14,000.Ours will be less then half that.

How does the performance of these compare to the FAST or Stock EFI that RUNS on the LS Engines? Thanks, Ty |
ty, i believe most of the individual runner intakes produce 50 plus more hp and tq then a conventional intake.

Holy old thread, batman. lol
