Schwartz Cutlass LSX 455
The rear tire, looks kinda narrow, but they're 345/30x19 on 13 wide Forgelines. It's on our Schwartz A Body chassis. The Recaro seats in this retail for $3300 each.
I hope to get the owner's permission to have this at Road Atlanta for the Year One Exp. Jeff |
Wow, that's going to be a wicked car. Definitely keep us in the loop!

We have the seats in a hermetically sealed vault until they're ready to go in. Don't want to breath too hard on them out of fear. Considering what the front's cost, getting the rears upholstered to match was a bargain.

 Wow i just melted trough my chair love to see more of the "non Camaro" cars cant wait to follow this thread!

Should be in color in a few weeks. Doing final design on fuel tank and engineering the stainless steel hood hinges Monday. The body is coming off one more time.
More pics soon at: www.schwartzperformance.com/CutlassLSX455.htm Thanks, |
 can't go wrong with an A-body Oldsmobile

Looks good Jeff. Glad to see this one progressing !

Bad ass car!

I like how you spaced out the LS2 water pump to run your bracket system, Pretty slick.

We use an LS1 ATI Damper on the serp drive. With an LS7, the crank being longer, it ends up spaced out some.
The owner decided to ditch the vinyl top. Here's the revision Carter did. Thanks |
SMOKIN

How far along is this car? I have never seen one of these olds built up before.
I would love to see updates if you have any. |
Info on the build are here:

Just a courious question on the 455... What is the buzz about doing a drive by wire anyways? I keep hearing protouring guys doing this and saying its the in thing now. My experience has been drive by wire works well but when you get on it hard and quick there is a delay in the throttle response, not bad but noticeable... Sorry for changind the topic a little bit....
Blessings, |
Glad to see another Olds! Any mods planned for the front bumper/grills/hood? Going w/fiberglass bumper or front spoiler or just stock 71 chrome front bumper?
|
No delay noticeable on this DBW. On a vette maybe a bit only if the traction control is on.
Stock repro hood, stock bumpers. Thanks |
Nice!!! Damn, I HAVE to get back on mine soon!
Shiny Side Up! Bill |

I can't get the stripes to look right in the photos and I can't post a high res photo as it's too large.
Here's another shot. It looks ragged in this shot too, but the stripes are clean. |
Coming along nicely Jeff!!

Love the car It looks like a a dream, Did you happen to so any renderings with it white and gold stripes? Just trying to pic that in my head wondering how it would look I bet hot.
Nice works as always Jeff |
No, we didn't try white. The customer wanted to retain the stock gold color, which is the color we used. It'd probably look good though.
Thanks |
car looks amazing as is normal with all your work...
off topic but is that a Ducati Tricolore in your profile picture by any chance? |
Hey Jeff , who do you use for your interior??
