Fastest Production Car-Video
Guys, thought you might enjoy watching this. It's a clip from Bugatti's new 16 cylinder Veyron, the fastest production car in the world. Watch as they get this thing up to 254 mph. Pay attention to the engineering behind this vehicle, it's unreal. This car has more radiators than most cars have cylinders! At this speed, tires burn up in 15 minutes and they report the fuel tank will run dry in 12 minutes. Enjoy!!

I wonder what happens when you hit a deer at 250mph. lol

thats kinda funny. tires would die in 15 minutes at top speed, but the car runs out of fuel in 12 minutes at top speed.
i guess i'll just remember not to do that when i drive a bugatti next time. |
man their camera work is so good. I was out of breath!

That is as serious as tru super can get. Hats of for Bugatti / WV  :hail:

That was very impressive! However I think there is a Shelby model that has taken the top speed record away from the bugatti. I'll have to find out what it's called for sure.

The CCR was tested by Road and Track or some other magazine to 249, then the CCX (the newer one) was tested to 260 something, I wish I could remember where the article was but I know that the CCX is faster.
This is not the article that I'm talking about, but it does have the new E-85 CCXR. http://www.businessweek.com/autos/co...an%3E+features |
The Koenigiss posted a time faster than 250 but it was unofficial since it has to make it both directions down a track and average. However, shelby is building the SSC which so far has posted 256mph...
http://www.shelbysupercars.com/press.php That link goes to the press release on the shelby site that says it broke the official record currently held by the Koenigsigg and the unofficial record held by the Veyron. William |
