Changing Up The Nova.
Well I decided Im not going to sell the Nova anymore, And im going to just make what I have into what I wanted! lol I decided im just going to start driving the hell out of my car, im kinda tired of all the car show drama, and after a couple rides in the DSE test car. Im hooked.
Im for sure thinking about wheels and looking at some Forgelines and painting the centers the dark grey to match the engine bay, after that it's going to just a time process of changing some other things, Im going to put a roll cage in the car and Probaby changing up the interior. :) I had ALLKAR do a couple photochops for me and I think that Im liking this one the best! http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...1a10dab55f.jpg Happy Holidays! Looks good Paul, are you thinking a darker/sportier interior?
I thought you 'had' to sell the car? I'm glad to hear you don't have to..but would it be easier to sell this one and build another one that's more aggressive? I guess it all depends on how much you want to change...and if there's some changes you wont be able to make due to an already painted car. |
did you ever get any offers??
|
Thanks!
I never "had" to sell it but it would make things alot easier if we had. My dad found a good apartment down their and its pretty cheap. yup a darker interior for sure and SIMPLE. I really like the color this car is already and plus I really dont want to wait for body and paint again! lol the only changes I really want to do is the wheels, interior/roll cage, the engine bay is just how I want it. I'm diggin the new wheels. Are the centers going to be painted or annodized? Ok, maybe that's a dumb question, I mean, where would you guys come up with a good painter? :D
Looks good Paul.  |

Oh yeah I like the new look! It will be funnier to see people pull up to the golf course and be like WTH? Who's car is that?

Thanks Scott!
Im think im going to paint the wheels grey to match the engine bay. Im not sure, I might have to farm the painting out. Know anyone good? Paul Quote:

those wheels are perfect.....same as the engine bay...SWEET :hail:

Car is flat out stunning. Forgelines will change the whole look of the car. The wheels will look killer. Either was you go - the car will be awesome.

I like the wheels just not digging the dark gray, maybe a lighter grey or brush aluminum for me. Killer car !!!
|
you could do the same look that you have on the air cleaner and stuff.....then add brushed accent peices to the interior as well as the contrasting colors we talked about earlier. However darker wheels will give a meaner look IMO....

We are working with Forgeline on a new brushed lip with a clear satin powder coat that would look fricken sick on both the Chevy 2 and Malitude. Forgeline is trying to get a good picture of it but the camera flash blows it out. Were doing a set of wheels right now with the satin brushed lip and satin black centers, should look sinister!
I love the ZX3 wheels, we just ordered a set for a black 930 Slant Nose Porsche, were doing them with satin black center and RED LIPS! Should be hella obnoxious! |
I have liked this car from day one! and personally! think the wheels on it now are drop dead georgous! cant get any better than the polished billets, sure everyones wanting the darker wheels but sorry they dont fit the style you have built! this thing is killer as it as it sits, but if you do decide to go forgelines go with the polished or satin or both to match the bumpers and even the satin engine compartment!
