Images from today's Pomona car swap meet

Went to Pomona today.. TONS of people and cars.. the place was nuts.. as usual it was the typical mix of overpriced junk with a few gems sprinkeled about.

Here's a $1800 Camaro.. I would have checked the floors for rust but there were no floors. lol.. it was a mess.. dig the finder louvers??

Here's the best deal of the day (IMO).. grandma fresh Nova with 47k original miles... The Camaro next to it was a mess and cost $2,000 more.

Here's the car I most wanted to drive home. It was VERY clean. I wish it had the blue interior and I wish it wasn't an auto.. but every part of the car was very nice.

Oh, and this pic sums up how people ask big money for heaps of rusty metal:

What the heck do you expect for $1,800!! lol

And it had NO parts with it.. no glass.. no floors.. it was a twisted mess. The only use I saw for it was to buy it for the VIN and then call Dynacorn.. :_paranoid

I think it's all twisted from being moved around with no floors..

deuce32 01-13-2008 06:46 PM

yeah im sure . im sure someone will buy it and dream it up and maybe make something . most things are ugly before they are beutifull.....except for me lol

Yeah those fender louvers are super rare, copo, non-RPO code option. Worth bigggg money!

cmraman 01-13-2008 09:52 PM

6 cylinder engine.. pretty clean. I didn't do a super examination, but it seemed very clean.

It was a ONE owner car.. like I said, grandma fresh.

Doh, I didn't even notice the B-pillars the first time :( , well I feel stupid :_paranoid . I bow to your keen observation Kenny :hail: . Though for $10k, in that condition, it MIGHT be a good deal if it was a Nomad ................ but it isn't  .

Hey Steve, Did you see this Ford E100 at Pomona? My father in law sold it at the show. He said it sold within the first 15min. Not sure what he got for it.
