Is anyone here selling a car at Barret Jackson??

Just curious.. last year we had a few members with cars being sold there.

Not selling but, Jeff said the Poison Dart is up for auction. It was the first car out of the shop and he was hoping it would bring good money.

It's hard to believe he's selling the poison dart allready.A good friend of mine just finished up the motor and from what I understand they got it running pretty good.

I hope the car makes the TV coverage. What'd they do to the engine? I remember the first one was a iron 426 Hemi OE block. What's in there now?

I'm not sure what they did. It's the same motor, something broke inside and it had to be tore apart. I think it dropped a valve but not sure. They had alot of problems with tuning as well. But when it left it was running great.

you might look at russo steel ecause they are more in line with the real market .

Who came up with the term resto-rod? It seems like every non-stock car is a resto-rod...

To Barrett-Jackson,
Stop using the term resto-rod!

Thanks, David

Steve- Jeff is almost always available. Email [email protected]

And you can call him at the shop 815-546-2123(cell) 815-455-2230(shop)

I'm sure he'd love to tell you the great story about that car. Lots of inside the shop drama. And the typical thrash-fest stuff. V8 tv did a 2 part story on it as well. I just watched it yesterday.
