Since no replies (I was hoping to see some footage as well), you can check these out if you like. It is a loose interpretation of Pro-Touring at this stage :D It does have a stock steel dash, upgraded instruments, stock heavy-arse doors with full glass, street legal and current registration. But... loud as loud gets and I went full tube chassis outta fear for my life considering I shift into fourth gear at 141mph :unibrow: so no more carpeted floor and firewall.

Being an avid road racer, I chose a platform for the track benefits v. my first love, the 1970 Mustang fastback. I drove an original 1970 Mustang Trans Am Boss 302 years ago at Willow Springs in CA and suffice it to say this car is much faster.

Posted this a while back. It was taken from my 67 at Road America last April. Sorry about the crappy video quality.

Van - I so need to make the trip to Road America! Since moving to Colorado the local track is pretty bad so traveling is going to be next thing once the car is thoroughly sorted, hopefully by mid-year 08. That looks like the perfect track for my high geared beast!

Monza - some vintage car race footage at Pueblo from a couple years ago - the track was about 2 seconds faster then in the vintage clubs (the track has been losing about a second average lap time for a few years now as turn 10 got worse and worse according to what I have been told). The car shown that won is running right around 1:50 lap times (5 seconds off my pace currently but I have a couple more seconds in the car for sure in tuning and learning the track, I have been on it five times so far).

If you are into vintage car racing. It is funny for me to find this stuff cuz I run the whole track in 2nd gear (40mph at 3K to 104 mph at 7600rpm) and go to third on the straight (135mph at the braking zone), so hearing the shifting and all the work it takes to run 1:50s is fun hahaha.

Some great stuff, my fav would be "Mighty." It's great seeing that action and reactions of the other drivers the bad drivers really stick out scary really.
Must be some more in car camera action out there?

I have about an hour's worth of track footage Keith (Anderson) sent me. I'd put it up. But I have no clue how to convert a DVD to MPEG / WMV / API or any other type.

EDIT: Not to steal his thunder. I found a couple links to some of the footage. It's on his L-G page. https://lateral-g.net/members/anderson/

A lot of videos have been shown before, but they are worth re-posting to prevent naysayers from whining that our cars do not get used or abused.

Here is two year old video at the Autocross from Hell. Transitions from apron to banking really tested suspension travel and ground clearance. Walls are intimidating. Automatic transmissions, skinny tires, C4 suspension (not C6), leaf springs and 13"/12" brakes work!!

Be sure to hold out for the third and last run on the video as the car blow right past the camera at full throttle. And CRANK THOSE SPEAKERS!! Crank it.

Here is the infamous Nova crash video from the AxH. It really shows the importance of using the proper gear at the proper time. Tesla rocks!
