The pins are AFCO units and very inexpensive.. you can get them on Summit for CHEAP (like $15..)

Are these the same basic dimensions as normal plates? I already have standard plates on my hood and would hate to have to re-drill holes, but would really like to run these.

Schff plate hole pattern
 

Hi Kris, The hole pattern is the same as the AFCO scuff plate and I would assume, but have not checked it out. They would be the same as Mr. Gasket and others. The hole pattern is 1.5 x 1.5 and we use #8-32 screws. I have a generic set of hood pins and they have a smaller hole pattern (1.25 x 1.25). I hope this helps.

We will be offering a Black Anodized version in the next few weeks also.

We do! We have stock of both the locking and original. We will have stock of the black one in 5 ~ 10 days as they are out being hard coated.
