Build Book "BUILDERS"
 

I'm hearing that there's a new Build Book coming out this spring called 'Builders'. The focus is going to be on 50 to 60 builders across the country with a few pages dedicated to each shop and/or project.

Is there anyone here that is going to be in it? :cheers:

We feel very honored to be invited to join this book. We just got our invitation today. It looks like it will be a very nice book. Each builder will get three pages. They are looking to get it out later this year. It will retail for $20 according to the paperwork.

We got our invitation in the mail this afternoon. Way cool! They're pretty good books too, I just finished reading the one on the Reactor build. :thumbsup:

Congratulations to everyone who has been invited to participate in that issue. It will be a real nice book. Anything Team Killeen puts together is always first class. Its going to be a win win situation for everyone.

Anyone know what shops are doing this? Should be cool! :thumbsup:

What ever happened with this? Are they still going to do it? I heard he didn't have enough people sign up.

I know rad rides and a bunch of shops were signed on to do it. Im not sure whats going on with it though. Scott is at Troys shop taking photos for the Nova build book. If he is there tomorrow at the shop ill be sure to ask about it.

The builders build book is still going to be done. Expect it to be ready soon. Also the Rad rides Nova "Notorious" build book is going to be done shortly after. So thats some good reading in the future!

Scott hung out at Troy's one night last week and told me he has a lot of people signed up for the builders book,sounds like a good group of shops

We are in the book and it will be out soon, the problem Scott is having is people wont get the info to him so its way behind. He wanted to have them ready for Columbus but that isnt going to happen. The Book will be killer for sure and there will be a lot of top builders in it so good for everyone.

I belive Scott did a magazine version of builders called On The Road when he worked for buckaroo. A couple of the shops that I remember were rad rides,Alloways and a few others. I'll see if I can dig it out of my ever growing magazine collection.

I thought I heard there was a build book for Blowfish coming out. Is that true?

O.K. I found it. Street Rod Builder presents On The Road. It came out spring of 2003. Shops in it were Boyds,Lobecks,California Street Rods,Brizio,Steve Auto Restorations,Lake Side Rods,Strange Motion,Snicks,Foose Design,Bones Noteboom,Scotts Hot Rods,Kugel,Great lakes Motor Works and Nicks Old Car Specialty.Plus Rad Rides and Alloways. Magazine also had couple of feature cars Neal Lea's built 55 chevy and a Snicks built 37 ford.

I believe that was a made up rumor.
