"DEMON wheel pics

Well, Finaly we got this car down on the ground and moved into our clean assembly room.
We were first going to add a 1/8 green stripe to the outside of the wheel lip , but after seeing it all come together I am not so sure if I want it . I think the strip might take away from how tough the car looks now.

Enjoy the pics.

That Demon looks all business

awr68 02-04-2008 10:37 AM

Looks MEAN!! Great choice in wheels!!!

skatinjay27 02-04-2008 11:13 AM

man that car is perfect for tucking those wheels... its still got plenty of ground clearance but those tires a tucked up good.

Neil B 02-04-2008 11:51 AM

It looks really mean. Great choice.

cmraman 02-04-2008 12:08 PM

Maybe not green but how about a orange or something bright that is an accent color on the lip to break up all the black of the wheel and rim. Giving it a little separation. Just a thought.

wiedemab 02-04-2008 01:23 PM

Wow - that looks great!

I was kinda thinkin' the same thing.
Maybe a thin red line to go with the lil Demon?
(If I can get a second, I'll try and PShop one in)

RedRyder 02-04-2008 01:47 PM

Love the car and those wheels really do make it look all business. i like the deviation from polished lips. To me the green and black look great just as they are. I think that the wheels and bright green paint make such a strong statement that to put a stripe on it may tame it down some. Killer either way though.

Yes along with Year one , Goodguys Columbus just for fun(might just road trip it with this ) and RTH with Billy.
I plan to hit local shows with it and run my kids back and forth to school. Maybe a XV event also . Basically as much as I can .

Datsbad 02-04-2008 02:44 PM

If anyone has any photoshop skills to do a red or green thin stripe I would appreciate it .

I vote to leave them black...no stripes!

MarkM66 02-04-2008 04:20 PM

Try a silver stripe on the wheels, same color as the bumpers.

I know the stripes are a little wide, but this is a limitation of PS. If they were thinner, they would be more subtle. Personally some color needs to be there. I think I like the orange the best. It needs to be a contrasting color.
This is only a rough idea.

Yep, and it's the only other color other than green that ties back to the color scheme of the car (red demon logo).

I second that!

It would go with the bumpers, and it would be nice to see some separation to show the bigger rims...

I second that... I think it would look nice if you could get the rivets in the green body color.

Drip rail chrome, window divider, marker light bezels will be black .
A photoshop of the bumpers in black or green is what I am thinking now just to see.

gionni 02-05-2008 01:12 AM

WOW...awesome your demon man! :unibrow:

is the ride height on the pictures with complete deflatet airbags?

chrismoe 02-05-2008 03:29 AM

Looks Great!

Two Words

HEMI Billboard!

DDY RCKT 02-05-2008 08:33 AM

That's amazing! Despite that my eyes are bleeding, and it's not even sunny out!

I'd keep the wheels as they are, it looks awesome!

I think it would be sweet if the ARP bolts were painted green like the car so when the car is in motion it would appear to have a green glowing ring coming where the bolts are on the wheels

Sitting here watching the tornado warnings everywhere around me and decided to pass the time fiddling with photoshop.

As a result... here's my .02 on what I feel would look good.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...reenDemon2.jpg

And since I'm "throwing it out there"....
how 'bout a flat black hood? (not sure what style you plan on doing)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...reenDemon3.jpg

Again, strictly my opinion only. (For what it's worth)

cmraman 02-06-2008 08:20 AM

I like this. A flat black hood would be really cool. Also I like pulling the orange from the demon logo into the wheel better. but I really like this treatment.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...reenDemon3.jpg

Hey Datsbad, are you sorry you opened this can of worms?

jeff hanson 02-06-2008 05:40 PM

leave the wheels, black hood, billboard stripe, done!:captain:

Datsbad 02-06-2008 08:48 PM

WOW, I did open a can of worms huh?

The hood is a flat black hood with the twin scoops.
The windows , and window trim and door handles will be black , I think I am going to leave the wheels alone, the bumper treatment I really like in green, That is something I can do after I get it running.

Thanks guys, you all did a great job .
I really love this DEMON, seems like there is a lot of possiblities.

sixtnine 02-07-2008 06:47 PM

I LOVE those body style mopars with the small bumpers! They are so clean looking. Here is some more fuel to the fire, how about the AAR style broken stripe?? You can't go wrong with the clean look it already has. Nice!

joe440 02-07-2008 08:06 PM

yard dog...
