Here is the progress so far> It should look a whole lot better in a few weeks. It is really coming together. Roy and Paul(my body dudes) are doing a great job. These guys are old school young guys. If you notice, There are Cuda's, a 442,a Nova, three 69 Camaros and more in line. These guys are the stuff.

Looks sweet Jim. Are you going to add a waterfall that forms the console from the rear?

Ummgawa 07-11-2005 08:21 PM

Yes. this is very preliminary. I was almost reluctant to post these pix as they are at the very early stages. The lip will have a slight roll and the Cascade will be built this week. I just got excited about the progress. I will post more this week.

By the way I have purchased leather 2003 Viper seats for the Vert, they should be here this week so we can mount the roll bars.

Yes it is mini tubbed. The 335's are waiting!!

Don't let anybody tell you different, mini tubbing a Vert is a pain in the Butt. Lots more stuff to cut and reposition. I estimate that if I weren't making a speedster, the cost to replace all of the vert pieces would make the cost of tubbing double. Very Labor intensive. I saved a lot of $$ by cutting out all of the vert stuff myself.

Looking good Jim!! I love the idea of a Speedster. I was going to do a 68 in the same fashion, but decided to the 55 first. I'll be doing the 68 after this.

Can't wait to see yours done!!

Looks good Jim. Waterfalls have become popular lately. I can't wait to see one done and in a magazine.

I know a lot of guys here have won shows, been in all kinds of magazines. I figure I could die and go on to my reward if it made a Mag.
